You know, one thing i like about Mulan is how Yao, Ling and Chien Po don’t really seem to care about the fact that Mulan is a girl.

I mean, when they find out, they are visibly perplexed

But even so, they rush and try to help her when she’s about to get killed

After this, they all seem quite depressed about having to leave her behind (and when Shang ignores her)

And when she shows up and takes action, they gladly follow her lead

And they even rock some crossdressing, like she did

(btw they just missed a great opportunity to make Shang crossdress here, shame on you movie)

Honestly, i just think this needs more appreciation. Because to them, Mulan didn’t have to prove herself again, just because she is a girl. She already earned their friendship and respect when she was ‘Ping’, and that was enough.

They’re capable of realising Ping and Mulan are the exact same person regardless of gender, which is something Shang had problems with.

it starts off really awkward (because Harry sucks at flirting), but as he gets more practice he gets better at it. When Draco figures out what he’s doing, he starts flirting back (purely to distract Harry of course). Eventually, they get together.

At their wedding, Harry thanks Oliver for “seeing what he couldn’t” and “recognizing what he needed before he even knew himself and pushing him towards it”.

Oliver smiles and nods and congratulates his teammate. Later, he tells Harry that he’s happy for them but, he was literally just trying to win the Quidditch cup.

Imagine Harry just going for it, though. Draco dives for the snitch and Harry realizes he’s too far away and just shouts, “YOUR ARSE LOOKS AMAZING WHEN YOU BEND OVER YOUR BROOM LIKE THAT, MALFOY!” Draco whips his head around, totally dumbfounded by this brazen come-on from Potter, zooms past the snitch and nearly collides with two of the Beaters from his own team. And they’re like, “Get your shit together, Draco, he’s fucking with you.” It takes Draco a second to get what they mean, but then his eyes narrow and he turns his broom around. He’s not even looking for the snitch anymore, he’s locked on Harry. And he smiles. Game. On.
