Lost in ink Lost in clouds Lost in words Lost in eyes Lost in being lost Lost in being here Lost in being Lost in
Loss.
Loneliness is an anchor between the words
Crowds flood around moving with darting eyes but each glace seemed to last minutes
He who waited on the sand finding it hard to breathe the air
endless sand and sea now pavement
Moving to Reality .1
The buildings eyes were bright even as the world sleeps.
he was afraid to be eaten side walk benches held yesterday as forgotten sweaters, notes or forgettable words to husks of food and things that would take years to decay.
What was it to decay?
He brandished tears only seeing one man who poured smoke from his mouth holding a dying cigarette. The roads are veins beaming light reflecting the stars as if it all was a mirror showing what man could make. Do you have a cigarette?
The man asked unnoticing the stream of tears. The cigarette dark spear dazzling in lights at the tip burning away the smoke weaving around.
"No."
A shame I guess all good things come to an end.
The quiet smothered thought and dried the tears.
The sun arrived smothering the world with warmth and a new light giving a face to the man buying cigarettes.
He waits for the night.
Moving to Reality .2
Pits of green across the pit stop for the car.
Action figures lay bare, done in by love and far they fought hard through dirt via hands trying to confront growing pains
They sit at the edge of the driveway with a skinned knee from yesterday
the kids are simulated sounds in the distance because if you pretend to not hear something do you really hear it?
The gutters collected water polluted by soap, forgotten leaves like floating boats, evergreen conifers to sticks that seemed to come from nowhere.
Dirt caked on hands folding in words from school. Worries of the future on the edge beaming into passing water.
The breeze gently held tears that rolled into the small, small river.
Growing Up.
The rise of the sun
is a gentle reminder
the world goes on
Another Morning
We want to be bound to
the eyes that caught us like nets.
We want to be fucked into oblivion
until our scribbled words become sentences again.
We want to be set free with a love we can’t
seem to grasp alone lost in a pleasure
that is a biological itch to satisfy.
We chase ourselves until we are lost calling
out our own name.
Tell me who I am
If you ask me none of this really means anything and at the same time it means everything.
I forget how time is limited in the presence of people becoming ghosts. One day I'll become a ghost too.
Ghosts
