My parents raised me to not be a twat by ordering by price. I was raised order what I actually want, rather than to “be polite” and not enjoy my meal with my good company. I also make it a point to be sure to pay for their meals on other occasions or to go dutch.

the worst is having a dream where someone loves you and you can practically feel them touching you and it feels so real and then you wake up and it’s like the life is being sucked out of you and the happiness just drains out of your body and you feel empty again

Do you ever feel a wave of affection wash over you like you wanna hold hands or send cute texts or give forehead kisses but ur single so you just put something on Netflix and wait for the extra warmth in your chest to pass

my depression recovery rules:

No major decisions past 7pm. 

No unplanned trips or adventures past 9pm. 

Sleep, eat, and attempt to exercise on a regular basis.

Make the hard tasks (doing laundry) non-negotiable. 

Reward yourself for accomplishing your goals, even the little ones.

Catch and thwart the negative thoughts early on- don’t give the negativity so much credit. 

Remember that this lack of yourself is temporary, life will come to a balance again.
