Lemme talk about this, eh?

So, before the club closed Shy had just recently gotten her water spirit and thus some water powers to go with it. This was also after I found her niche as pretty much an animal whisperer. This wasn’t originally the case as she was supposed to be a plant whisperer, but hey, plans change.

So after that, it was obvious that she needed an animal transformation for her water powers as well. And I could have just gone with a mermaid and let that be the end of it. I even had a mermaid version of her from years back. But nah. She actually chose to be an octopus to be close to her her adopted Kraken son Kymari, the little pink octo next to her.

I actually had a little bit of a story, where she wanted to talk to Kymari but her voice would be muffled by the water, so he would actually pop out to have a convo and pop back in. So Shy’s next big plan was to be able to talk to him in the sea. And swim with him in the sea, so she chose to be like him.

She also ended up learning a lot about octopodi in the process.

Maybe I’ll do something with that eventually.

Thursday becomes an uncontrollable flirt when drunk.

Bastian on the other hand (somehow) becomes overly sappy.

More than anything on the earth, Mayla hated praetor training, if only for the fact that she had to wake up early. One of the main reasons she trained as hard as she did was just so she wouldn't have to train anymore.

At least no more training under her dear grandmama Johan, that is.

Random Spirit facts?

Thursday’s spirits collaborated just to mess with him.

Yeah they have their own names, but they’d much rather be called Wednesday, Tuesday and Monday. Wednesday rather liked the name to the point that it’s his actual name at this point. Tuesday caught on to the trend rather fast, asking to be called Tuesday to one up both Thurs and Wed. Monday didn’t know any better and just chose the one that fit. And accidentally ‘one uped’ the rest of them.in the process.

Wednesday is turtle based, Tuesday will be crow based and I don’t know what Monday’s gonna look like.

Henley’s first two spirits were twins made from a storm who refused to be separated. So when Philipe the wind spirit was reborn to be Henley’s birth spirit, Penelope the water spirit made sure to find the other spirit.

Later on, I was going to make Shy’s brother, Nadeem, a guardian. But first that would involve getting Shy’s guardian situation down since if she was not protected, Nadeem would have jumped on that mission in a heartbeat.

Sweet sweet Nadeem. Thursday is my Mr. Daddy Issues, Nadeem is Mr. Must know Everything.

He would make sure to learn everything he could about the family, his sister’s family, now his extended. Try to figure out how magic works, learn his limits, the extent of his powers and the powers of others. All the weapons he could wield, make. I’m sure he’d annoy someone with the questions. Especially being left in the dark so long about his step mom and sister. And he was able to enter this world on his own. And he was going to make sure he stays around.

I was going to make Shy’s last Spirit a thunder chicken since she is very fearful of both lighting and chickens. (Chickens were more of an after affect of living at Dulcedomum)

But of course that would mean a fire element chicken and that just wouldn’t fly. Same with snail, which would have been my second choice (that was actually my first choice of spirit for Shy before Aze was revised as a frog)

One of her spirits is going to be an earthworm, but that will probably be reserved for her second, water spirit. 

Honestly I just wanted Shy to deal with her fear in the worst way possible- by having to learn to wield it.

Bastian without Jonah pt 2

And with the same premise as the original post, I don’t think Jonah and Bastian get together in the Medieval AU. In all reality, this probably would be the one that Bastian would try and bone Jonah once or twice and leave it. 

I’m sure the king and queen hired him as a tailor without knowing about his crossdressing ways. King Torin definitely would have found out or had some inkling, but damn if that little Spaniard wasn’t good at his job. Bastian would sneak out of the castle a good amount of times, bribing one guard with sex, telling him all the while he’s doing a good job even if he’s letting Bastian get in and out of the castle unseen, all while banging his brains out to make sure to keep his mouth shut.

In the nearby town, in his best dresses, dance til the dawn with the town folks.

Bastian without Jonah

A couple of times I’ve thought of Bastian without Jonah. Because, let’s face it, without the extremely specific set of circumstances in their OU and the one  AU, they would have never gotten married. Hell, they would have probably banged once or twice and left it at that if anything at all.

I’m sure Jonah would have found someone he loved at the end of it all. It would probably take a couple of tries and patience, but it would happen. 

Bastian would have been just as much of a mess as he had been in hogwarts/highschool/school etc. He’d have been with Stephen a lot longer than before finally realizing at Stephen’s graduation (through the help of a couple of friends) that he’d been controlled that entire time. With that fear settling in and with no one he trusted to settle down with, he’d never really get any more mature than that horny teenage he was before Stephen. Maybe a little bit more mature, since he’d have to take care of himself, no way he’d stay with his parents or his sister. Traveling, screwing everyone he likes (safely of course, he may be dumb, but not that dumb to risk his own safety). He’d be about himself first and foremost. Not to say he doesn’t care about his family or friends, but he’d never really think about getting a family himself, just dating and screwing casually, never long term. 

Later, Adelaide would still have her kid. His name probably wouldn’t be Jethro at that point since it was Jonah who named him in the OU. Adelaide wouldn’t want to pawn him off on her father, since she still had a lingering hatred of her step mother and Bastian’s mom Dulce. Bastian being the obvious next choice since she had to give her son to someone to take care of him while she was in jail. 

Bastian would be a bit reluctant to leave his way of living, but more than willing to do for his family. His son would grow up knowing nothing but love.

PETS

(Those things I sometimes forget my characters have) Bastian has a snooty cat named Estrella who watches your every move as soon as you enter the room. Bastian has chosen to ignore the staring.

Jake has a dog named Jesse with one eye. She’s not very good at moving around the house and knocks into things… and sometimes Eva. Eva says she hates the dog but that’s only because she has issues and adores the stupid thing.

Damien at some point in his story had a mouse that he kept changing the name of. He was supposed to keep getting mice and rats over the years. (I forgot). Also in some of the AUs, Charlie gets a dog. Toby is the dog of their OU, gotten after Charlie had a close encounter with a stalker. Mordechai is the dog of the Victorian AU, whom Charlie saved from a river (thank you @fluffymamabird for remembering) Damien’s not fond of dogs but he is terribly fond of Charlie and puts up with it.

Any AU where Azeren is not a spirit/familiar/what have you, they are just Shy’s pet frog. In Dulce Shy now has pet Direwolf who named himself Steele and a Snow fox named Paprika.

NEW: AU Tags

I’m gonna go back and re-tag some things with the Universes the canons are associated with, and then continue that trend with the new stuff that I’m gonna start posting~ If there is none, just applies to most/all unless i specifically mention otherwise. I’ll probably call them all AU’s tho, even tho some of them are the original Universes the character was created for- just easier to search that way. XD

So far there is: Demigod Dulcedomum Hogwarts Pokemon Human (basic earth rules) Royals
