PETS

(Those things I sometimes forget my characters have) Bastian has a snooty cat named Estrella who watches your every move as soon as you enter the room. Bastian has chosen to ignore the staring.

Jake has a dog named Jesse with one eye. She’s not very good at moving around the house and knocks into things… and sometimes Eva. Eva says she hates the dog but that’s only because she has issues and adores the stupid thing.

Damien at some point in his story had a mouse that he kept changing the name of. He was supposed to keep getting mice and rats over the years. (I forgot). Also in some of the AUs, Charlie gets a dog. Toby is the dog of their OU, gotten after Charlie had a close encounter with a stalker. Mordechai is the dog of the Victorian AU, whom Charlie saved from a river (thank you @fluffymamabird for remembering) Damien’s not fond of dogs but he is terribly fond of Charlie and puts up with it.

Any AU where Azeren is not a spirit/familiar/what have you, they are just Shy’s pet frog. In Dulce Shy now has pet Direwolf who named himself Steele and a Snow fox named Paprika.

Genesis Pools takes after her mother Charlie in athletics, joining the Slytherin quidditch team as soon all she could, though as a beater instead of a seeker like her mother. As a beater, Genesis is ruthless.

Her first games are some of the few times her father, Nurse Damien, would be seen outside his office at a quidditch game instead of him sending one of his assistants - something he hasn’t really done since Charlie herself was playing. Some would say it was to show support to his daughter - it was really because he was scared senseless that his daughter would get hurt.

Damien Pools

Meredith “Merry” Pools - Damien’s mom, in any AU is a florist. Which is one of the main reasons he shows his affections through flowers and why is always has well kept flowers in his office and home. I’m not sure if I gave Damien’s father a job…. or even a name for that matter. XD

Bastian Alejandro Fernando Rei Chele

Octavian Rei - Bastian’s father, a business owner with some… shady dealings- mostly tax evasion and the like. He has gone to jail for it, but that was while he was with his first wife. Octavian cleaned up his act (partially) when he married Dulce.

Dulce Rei Chele - Bastian’s mother and Octavian’s second wife, is a hairdresser.

Adelaide Rei Pena - Bastian’s older sister (+ 17 years), some detective type of law enforcement. (Obliviator for the MoM in OU)

Valentine “Van” Lanis

Raleigh Lanis - Van’s dad, a postal worker.

Marla Lanis - Van’s mother when when she was living was a teacher (I believe.) Died due to complications giving birth to the twins Maverick and Angela (-9 years).

Kylian Lanis - Van’s older brother (+2), works in McDonalds

Frank and Martha Dylan - owner of the JuneBug Deli, and the apartment above it where Van lives. Sort of like a second family to him.

Lily Ann Kerrington

Gloribel Kerrington - Kerry’s mother, stay at home mom, later a house cleaner.

Rowan Kerrington - Kerry’s father, Doctor.

Mayla Sueno Enero

Henrietta Enero Henriquez - Mayla’s mother, Hypnotist and Dream Analyser

Fredrick “Freddy” Henriquez - Mayla’s stepfather, police officer

Jeannie Burke-McLaren (Redstone or just McLaren in Dulce AU)- Thursday’s mom, world traveller.

Anais McLaren (Burke in Dulce AU) - Thursday’s grandmother. Retired traffic cop or bus driver.

Henry Burke (Dulce AU) - Thursday’s dad - Sanitation worker.

Gala Renard and Parker Santos (Dulce AU) - Thursday’s older siblings.

Shaydin “Shy”  Vanderbuilt

Henley Vanderbuilt - Shy’s mother, water ski/ skydiving/ zip-lining/ cliff-diving instructor. The main reason Shy is fearless around water and high places.

Ephraim Richmond - Shy’s father and curios salesman. The main reason why Shy collects and hordes small shiny or interesting knickknacks

Nadeem Richmond (+7 years) -  Shy’s brother, takes care of their father and helps with his trade.

what is everyone's favorite sex position?

Okay time to dive right into this! 

Let’s start with the easy ones shall we (pun may or may not be intended)

Bastian loves to be pressed up against a wall with his legs around his lover, preferably with his arms restrained.  

Eva, to quote Ludacris *ahem* “face down, booty up, that’s the way she like to fuck” - both as bottom and top seeing as it’s not the most personal of positions. That is, until she met Jake. The first time they had sex it was in that position, though afterwards she found she would much rather him top her while she’s on her back. She can kiss him a lot better this way.

Damien, being a big guy, is always worried that he’ll crush Charlie so he’d much rather her ride him cow girl style. He can also watch he face and body language a lot better to see what she likes/ dislikes.

Mathias likes to power bottom, being astride his lover excites him, since he can easily control what’s going to happen from where he sits (pinning down his lovers hips so he can’t buck up, riding him hard, going slow to tease, so on.)

Now for the difficult ones

Van is a very vanilla sort of guy when it comes to positioning, really liking missionary or laying on his side. He would rather spice it up by making love in different locations

Thursday is rather fickle when it comes to a lot of things, sex positions included. The thing he liked for his lover to do last month may not be something he’s into this month and so on. So he has no favorite position, buthis favorite thing is to spice up the bedroom in different ways.

Kerrington, though he doesn’t care to admit (nor really knew himself) loves to be pegged.  So one of his favorite positions is to be on his lover’s lap being penetrated by toys.

When choosing a birth-date for any of my characters I consult my favorite and most battle worn book - “Darkside Zodiac”.  This lovely book has helped me determine almost all the birthdays of my characters, starting off with what I know about them and then running through zodiac signs that would fit that bit of personality. Also, toss a bit of numerology in there too - I’ve been known to switch around the birthday by a day or so if there is a set year I’m working with and the Destiny number doesn’t match what I’m going for.

All in all, there are only two characters that I can think or where this process didn’t apply-

**Van, who’s birthday came from his annoyance at his name Valentine. I thought it would be cute, seeing as I have a cousin born on Valentine’s day as well (I am a dork a pull a lot of stuff form irl experiences). However, it was really hard for me to grasp Aquarius personality traits and soon grew to hate him after a while. In the pokemon AU he’s a lot better and I have room to grow with him. (Feb 14)

**And Shy, who birthday as originally in March 15, but in her Dulcedomum revamp, I mistyped it as May and couldn’t be assed to change it back. Though she is very much like a Pisces, I can still see a little Taurus in her and I plan to work with that in the future. I have to many Pisces characters any way. (May 15)

As for the rest of the characters…

**Damien, my bleeding heart. Which meant he just HAD to have a water sign. Me being a Cancer myself I though Damien would be one as well, but after a little research Pisces suited him better. (Feb 26)

**Bastian had no contest in being a Leo. He’s dramatic, boisterous, loves a crowd, overtly sexual and touchy. He just oooozes Leo. So the better part of figuring out a birthday was making his Destiny number a 6 for his loving nature. (Aug 5)

** Eva, my motormouth, brash as hell, over dramatic hard hitting transgender DJ turn office queen… she was another one of my characters that came with her sign tattoo on her ass (not literally, but now that I think on it that one of those things that could easily become canon. Yup, it’s canon now.) So very talkative, but much rather take action at the same time, she ended up with the 11th because 1 in numerology aggressive, determined and unwavering, and double the number means it hits twice as hard- which is what Eva is all about.(Jun 11)

**Thursday, I thought, was going to be my first earth sign- probably a Virgo. But his flights of fancy and indecisiveness made me lean more towards an air sign. Then there was the fact that he’s very spendthrifty that made me lean toward Libra, but close to Virgo, to keep a little o that down to earth personality trait. (Sep 26)

**Mayla may actually get a birthday change if I ever use her again. I first imagined her as a Cancer/Leo cusp - laidback and caring but dramatic, a home body with a party girl that switches on with the drop of a dime. But the more I played her, the ore it felt to me that- while I was right about the water fire cusp, I wasn’t right about the TIME. Her highly secretive nature and her way of getting to the point of what she wants to do reminds me more of a Scorpio/Sagittarius cusp. (Jul 20 - may change to Nov 21)

**Kerrington, another water/fire cusp, this time with Pisces/Aries. With him it was all about how he made friends and handled his anger. He fumed in silence and loyally stuck with friends he found worthy. I dunno honestly. He just reminded me of a more calm fire sign. How do you calm fire? With a little water.(Mar 22)

**Mathias is a recent addition in the birthday mess, since I didn't think of a birthday for him until just now. XD For him, he's a rather playful guy and very sure of himself so I went with a fire sign. He perfectly content with being by his lonesome but thrives in a groups so that turned me to Saggitarius since that is most of the Saggi's I know Kthere are three in my family) Also I felt the need to put him in November. Also finding out the birthday I picked is right next to his lover's is and added bonus of hilarity.(Nov 25)
