April heard him before she saw him. She looked up right as he was cut off, letting out a soft snort of laughter. She put her face in her hand, shaking her head slowly. “Andy - God, are you alright?” She asked, sitting back in her seat as she looked up at him. “What’s going on? Just breathe, okay?”
"I can't! I'm so excited I can't breathe!" He cried, scrambling over to her, going long enough without falling to pull out a chair and plop down in it. He enveloped her hands in both of his, and looks at her expectantly, teeming with excitement. "-- Well? Are you gonna guess?"

❜ Ah——sorry ‘bout that. Bit moody, this thing. Landing’s a bloody nightmare. ❛
& she is careless to admit it, but the adrenaline from the near-crash left her unable to filter such thoughts.
In a second, the switch from 'adult-like and serious' to 'childish and excited' flips, and he is filled to the brim with wonder as he looks at the girl in surprise. "-- Whoa, wait, wait-- is it magic? Please tell me it's magic."

"Are you okay?"
"-- What? Yeah. Haven't you ever fallen down on roller skates before?" Right as he says so, he has to cling to the door frame to avoid falling down on the sleek tile floors.
"April, ohmygod, you won't believe it!! You--" Andy was skating down the halls of the office, and was cut off mid-sentence as he accidentally slammed into the door. "-- Ow. Oh my god. April, April, guess what?" He was talking so quickly and excitedly, he probably was forgetting to breathe!

"-- And that's the end of my story. Story summarized: my wife is the coolest and is also so scary that she can make a grown man wet himself. Haha!" He tossed his head back in a laugh, and wiped an imaginary tear from his eye. "Isn't that the best?"

"Welcome to the Parks department, uhh... Miss. Hey, do you think you could park your gigantic blue telephone booth somewhere other than right in front of the door?" He inhaled for a moment, and stared at her, open-mouthed. "wait-- How-- ... did you even do that?!"

"Hey, kiddo-- you've been staring straight into that wall for like... 10 minutes. You okay?" His eyebrow creased in concern, yet his tone was still doused with humor. So, it was overall hard to tell if he was being serious or not.

"Uhhh...ohh. Little girl. Little girl, hello! Are you lost? Did you-- did you get separated from your parents ooor your friends? Are you on a field trip? Let me help you get... un-lost!"
Do you care if people just tag you in a starter?
I don’t mind at all, in fact, it’s appreciated!!

"I don't even like coffee. Do you want this?" Andy exclaimed as he held out his mug towards the other. "-- Seriously, this is gross..."
Dana looked at the man carefully and frowned. There was no way in hell someone like him was in the FBI. She waited until he lost his cool and laughed. Dana was still pretty unamused though. “No. Well… depends. I don’t even know who your wife is, dude.”
"That is an... excellent point." He patted his pockets for a moment, looking distant, before resuming eye contact with her. "I ran out of gold star stickers, but just know if I had some, I'd give you one. Anyways-- my wife, she's, she's uh, this tall--" He motioned to his collar bone, "And she has black hair and tends to make people uncomfortable and/or upset. Do you think you've seen her?"
"You’ve got to be flarking me…" Holstering his pistol, Rocket stared up at the strange man. “This…this ain’t happenin…”
Andy shamelessly snorted and muttered to himself, "flarking," before clearing his throat and bending down once more. "So, uh, what's your story little guy?"
Quickly raising the pistol the the man’s head, Rocket growled menacingly, very obviously pissed off now.
"You’ve got three seconds to drop the act Quill."
"Am I ... missing out on a joke, or?" Seeming a little less excited now, he stood up, looking at the raccoon in dismay. "It's, it's uh--" He pointed to himself. "Andy Dwyer."
Rocket let out a very obvious fake laugh, staring at the man he assumed to be Peter Quill, he let out a sigh and grabbed at the pistol on his right hip. "Great impression Quill, now if you ever do it again, you’re going to eat the end of this plasma pistol, got it?"
"Wow, the little guy has a fake gun, too!" Andy babbled, bending down to be on his knees as he examined Rocket. "How are you talking? Are you some sort of high-tech raccoon robot from outer space? Unlikely, but-- that'd be so fucking cool."
