I don’t know why I haven’t closed this account. I haven’t looked at it in months. I always used Tumblr as a portal into rose-tinted glasses; to hold on to what I believed to be all I was happy with. Regardless of whether that was past, present or future. Looking here after all these months has made me realise I’m not the type of person to keep a blog.

This is filled with memories I barely remember. Friends I no longer laugh with. Lovers I no longer love. Pictures I no longer look at. And words I no longer understand.

I think it’s time for me to close this account, in order to close a part of my life. One that I loved, and will always cherish. Not because of those people I no longer see, or those memories I no longer feel. But the fact that it made me who I am today, and tomorrow will make me who I am the day after that. I’ve learned a lot over all this time. And there’s a lot still to be understood.

So while I love everything here, I love everything. Period.
