Maybe I have really gotten the signals wrong this time.
And this is my first time getting it wrong.
How could I ever see it wrong?
Just puzzled but probably it’s time to move on.

Top 5 things you can do when in Bali
Top 5 things you can do when in Bali
Bali is an island located in Indonesia. It is well known for its white sandy beaches, rice paddy fields and beautiful Balinese temples. Although it is considered an island in Indonesia, it is still much much bigger than Singapore in terms of its geographical size! As there are already many available sites recommending the top 10 things or the 5 best places to go in Bali, etc.., I would prefer to…

Seoul and Jeju, Korea (duh, as though it is so hard to guess right, the title already speaks for itself okay)
Since my last trip to Korea in 2015, I was actually really looking forward to all the mask and skin care shopping and the cold…

hellooooooo!!!! once again.
After so long finally, I am flying out of Singapore again for a short holiday.
And this time, it’s back to downunder. Last year around the same time, we were at Sydney. It was basically exploring the city by foot and public transport! It is different this time, we gamely challenged ourselves to explore the outskirts of Perth by car! It was really hard on my younger bro, A as he did the driving all by himself! There were trips that lasted 2 hours, 2.5 hours and then 3.5 hours! It was a daunting experience both for the driver and the passengers, because it was our first time driving by ourselves on a foreign land. Fortunately, it wasn’t the first time for A.
Our excited bo chup faces
Whilst feeling bored on the plane, we entertained ourselves with selfies and whatnots.
We landed at Perth airport in the evening about 6ish but it was like 8pm in SG. We bought our prepaid sim cards, and collected our rental car and then we were headed for the rented apartment.
That was how our rented apartment looks like. It was so dark outside that we almost got lost at the neighbourhood before finally locating the apartment. Look at the narrow spiral staircase, that was the nightmare for 4 nights!
That’s A driving while I sat on the back seat.

Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park was a 2.5 hours drive from Perth city. And this is my first time entering a desert! Unbelievable and in awe of God’s amazing creation. Those standing rocks are limestones structures that have formed naturally from the surrounding environment 30,000 years ago. Read more at this link here.
This was Jurien Bay along the Indian Ocean drive. Magnificent view and there is a small fishing village town called Cervantes which you can pop by while visiting Nambung National Park.
Caversham Wildlife Park is a family run wildlife park with farm shows and animal feeding shows. You will get to see koalas, kangaroos AND wombats, and of course other animals. They claimed to have about 200 species on their website.
This was the scenic view we saw on our way back when we attempted to experience the zig zag drive. It was like driving on a narrow road round a mountain.

A very expensive but delicious lunch at the Watershed Winery with such a cool vineyard backdrop.
This was Kings Park and Botanical Garden in the Perth city. We had such a wonderful breakfast at the cafe in the park. This park was huge and it offers magnificent views of the Perth city.
So I have come to the end of this entry and hope you have enjoyed reading this as much as I do. 5D4N was short and it could have been longer with more places to be explore but despite the tight schedule, A has shortlisted this places for its popular reviews written all over the Internet. Do share with me if you have visited other places which was equally as fantastic as these places.
Adios!
Perth ’17. hellooooooo!!!! once again. After so long finally, I am flying out of Singapore again for a short holiday.
Penang 16.
Hello. It’s me again attempting to update on my travels and forgive me please, this is another backdated travel post which may provide a little insight into Penang, Malaysia. So let me start off with a picture of the Penang airport we landed. Grateful to say, this was a much needed short getaway for me last December. I spent a 4d3n with Dad and my most favourite Uncle A who doted on me…

No thing
No thing, nothing. The society and our cultures shape us to be something. Something we are, we are not. But when we realized we are nothing, We can be anything. And anything is possible!!!

Tokyo 2015.
Finally!! The entry on my last personal trip for the year 2015 is out! So I was headed to Tokyo Japan once again… this time with a different group of people, my ex-colleagues from the last workplace! We wouldn’t have attempted on this trip if JC hadn’t initiated for this one as we weren’t super close working partners in the workplace. But as I was familiar having been to Japan before, I gamely…

Macau 2015.
Ever since i started working with a company that manufactures slots and deals with clubs and casinos, i knew undoubtedly that one day i would be given an opportunity to sink my feet into this land of the gamblers (or the city of Sodom and Gomorrah, what the Bible says). I have never like the thought of travelling on a working basis so i have never really embark on the opportunities to travel for…

Suzhou 2015.
This was an unexpected side trip to Suzhou so thought it’d be better if I separately post a new entry on this. Through some channels, got to know that an uncle from my Dad’s side who has been living in China for some 7 or 8 years is now staying near to Shanghai. As he was as eager as us to meet up, he offered to drive over to Shanghai to pick us up and arrange a side trip to…
