The blood is thick, Thicker than the black ooze of primordial slime, Despair runs rampant, Contradictions at every turn, Wait! Don't go, Calls the voice in the night, Time slipping, Time wasting, Away like the flesh, The searching eye never rests, Never finds what it quests, Satisfaction never achieved, Even when it's guaranteed, Waiting for what, Life to begin, Life to notice, Fantasy only postpones realities call, Facing reality is the toughest of all, Realise the bitter hatred, Leave it behind, The pain will not stop, Tortuous mind, Emotional depths, The world left behind, Molded like clay, All dusty and worn, Inner conflict battles on and on, The door is wide open, The option is there, Simply walk out, Just disappear, Surrounded, Alone, All are the same, Consciousness confused, Life ambition lost, Dreams smashed, Morality squashed, And all for nothing in the end, a sad speck in eternity, Forgotten, Unmet, Moments are fleeting, So is regret, Self destruction is absolute, And consistent, Skin absorbs, Not water resistant, Collapsing in like a dying star, Quietly the light goes out, Cold misunderstood ball of mess, Driven by how curious, Curious of what tomorrow might bring, Maybe it'll give the birds a reason to sing, Breath lost, Tears dry, To you I say my last goodbye.
