bjhm redditors will have sympathy for butterscotch yes really and beatrice whichiget but decide joseph is just a villain and nothing else it baffles me greatly how its just he was always a vilian and nothing else who always hated his wife and children, as if that makes a better story than a man making poor choices thinking he did what was best but ultimately failed his wife and kids.
