Cleaning the Mew Ichigo Perfect Figure

It’s finally “another day” and I wanted to talk about my experience with this figure and my battle with a sticky substance known as “plasticizer”, which is quickly becoming the bane of my figure collecting existence. I’m also sharing how I cleaned her up and got her looking presentable again (and about 80% goo-free).

An old ask I’m sorry!! But I’ve been trying to get this labor of love together for a while… It’s a rough timeline of my progress throughout the year, I believe 2017-2018? I haven’t touched it in a while I’m officially running out of room.. I seriously didn’t expect to buy very much, but it’s already so full and    the foam was doing great holding it all up until I moved!!! There are more charms I really wanted, so I may just have to give in and get a bigger bag with a sturdier backdrop or something in the future!! 

So, starting with what I had in the first pic-There are bootleg figures I got when I was like 16, but I have customization plans for them. Also, I made the ringo felt doll myself and will eventually post some kind of tutorial/WIP photoset for it! … Eventually. The “Never give up” Patch in the background is also something I made ;’3c I might make stickers of it someday.

1/14/19 update

obviously but im like rlly fucking happy that its become such a big thing in any fandom now??? to the point where amazon is selling more varieties of ita bags and independent artists are kick starting their own creative and unique ita bag designs??? AND THIS MADE ME FLIP!! I was looking at amazon’s ita bag listings and i saw the sanshee galaxy one and i was like oooh i remember that i remembered seeing that when it was still in preorder and i went back to the site to see what other ita bags they provided and im not usually one for retro gameboy bag designs but FuCk!! 

THIS IS SO FRICKIN CUTE!!!

but they dont sell or canceled the design of the gold heart ita bag they were gunna make ;_; i thought itd be perfect fro a yugioh ita bag,,,

also im starting to regret getting that bow motif to alice ita bag in the black and white design like evne tho those colors match my wardrobe more it just doesnt rlly look as cute at the other bright pastel color or make my pins and merch pop out nicely like my tokyo mew mew one ;_; should i sell it and get a mint one? idk i like all the pastel colors,,, (might save mint bow motif one for a ruby or rin ita bag tho,,,)
