Yes, I support many of the drivers on the current grid including Lando and Carlos. 

Yes, I write fanfiction about them.

I really like their relationship and the way they interact and often find myself creating scenarios in my head. Which I then decide to write.

I'm not saying that everyone has to agree with me (or with the other people who write fanfiction about them or any other pairing of real people), but there is no need to "insult" those like me who decide to create a made up story about situations that may seem more or less real.

I just remember that the fic starts with them partying and at one point lando goes with a boy in a room and he is going down on a man for the first time and carlos walks in trying to "save lando" but he realize that lando didn't want to be saved and that push him to have some sort of gay awakening.

In the early hours of Monday morning, their hotel room is finally, reverently, blissfully quiet. The heavy curtains are drawn against the premature hours of darkness. Carlos lies with Lando pulled against the length of his aching body. His eyes are closed and his bottom lip is being worked back and forth between the rows of minty-fresh teeth. And he’s concentrating, concentrating on softly sweeping the calloused pad of his trembling thumb across the exposed expanse of Lando’s bare shoulder, thumbing carefully and somehow ridiculously fondly at the neatly inked numbers that were painstakingly set beneath the fragile layers of Lando’s perfect skin.

Lando’s skin, acting like a protective barrier between the internal mechanics of his tired body and the rest of the outside world. And he knows how to touch Lando, he knows the importance of tactile emotions, of fleeting skinship and the overwhelming intimacy that unravels when he strokes rough fingertips across the nape of Lando’s neck, expressing love without having to speak. It’s his voice, his prose, like poetry, an ever fixed trace of warmth and comfort that remains between them. Forever.

He traces the fine lines and lazy curve of the first five, a cardinal number in its own right. There’s a period between the first and the second digit, but there’s no abrupt ending and no resolution. The recurring numbers seem to spontaneously blur into the magical sequence of fifty five. Intricate and meaningful in its simplicity, an extension of his own existence, as pretty as any of Lando’s other beauty marks. It takes his breath away.

To anybody else, it’s a symbol of Lando’s maiden win. To Carlos, it’s a life shared, a life lived, everything they have built together. It’s tangent proof of their happiness. And his happiness, he realises, was always about having to live for himself. Being kinder to himself. His happiness has never been in the hands of other people. It was his own choice. Of all the love that his soul has ever craved, it’s Lando’s love he has wanted the most. And everything that they are, everything they are not, he knows now, that will be enough.

ROUTINES

Waking up with a mouth full of curls is not unusual for Carlos but what happens next it's a bit out of his morning routine.

It's been a while but life has been busy and I didn't have enough brain power to both live my life and write about these two. I'm trying to get back to if, for now I think I'll only be able to write short shorts like this one. I hope you'll like them anyway. I'm on my own writing this so any mistake is mine and only mine (I'm a bit rusty so please don't be too harsh with me). Any comment is welcomed 🧡❤️

So f*cling frustrated with everything and everyone. I can't get a minute of peace no matter the place or the people.

I love my jobs but I'd also love to work in places where I'm able to express my potential and not just do to many things in not enough time and have to redo them in my free time because "the deadline is too close".

It's how the world works, I know... Still frustrating though.
