She is commonly depicted in a red dress, with a gold crown on her head, and either sitting or kneeling. Her right hand is raised with the palm of the hand curved and pointing downwards. Her left hand rests at her side, or holds a bag full of gold near her lap.

[ M ] orena: is a Baltic and Slavic goddess associated with seasonal rites based on the death and rebirth of nature, and with dreams. Her death at the end of winter is believed to usher in the coming of Spring. In modern day, drowning the effigy of Morena in water is understood to be the goddess’ symbolic descent into the underworld, to await rebirth next winter.

[ J ] asy Jatere: an important figure in Guaraní mythology, he is usually described as a small man or a child, with light blonde hair and blue eyes. He is fair in appearance, and carries a magical wand / staff. Like most of his brothers, he lives in the wild, and is considered to be the protector of the yerba mate plant and hidden treasures.
