I was thinking, “Who in the world has a brain and a silliness which is close to the Doctor?” and then I saw that photograph of Albert Einstein poking his tongue out and it just clicked […] I started writing short stories about Einstein and the Doctor, where the Doctor was getting irritated with the great man’s buffoonery. He’d be saying, ‘Come on, Albert, keep up!’ and I think that, more than anything, was my way in to the part.

Don't you just love those time when you drop the little bubble thing that holds the little dinky, made in China toy you just had to have from the 50cent machine at the store. I find that people tend to look at me funny when that happens. I'm not quite sure if it's the actual sound of the drop or the 21 year old clutching a plastic little 50cent toy that makes people stare but either way I chose to defuse the moment by pointing at the bouncing plastic bubble and yelling...

"I chose you... Pikachu!!!!"

Unfortunately I find that Pikachu never appears and people continue to look at me weird. Oh well, such is life.
