“today was the worst day i’ve had at work in a while… some guy came up to me and tried to fight me on area 51 for hours. i mean i didn’t even get to do my job there was just so much talking…. how much more evidence do you need, y’know ??”

✧ savannah.

          savannah was walking home from another day of work at rosie’s when out of no where she sees someone facing away from her whilst arguing on the phone with someone. she doesn’t want to intrude on any type of confrontation, but she notices their hand coming back towards her face. she tries to speak up before it’s too late, but she feels the sudden sting on her face. savannah has trouble responding to the others obvious concern once they realize what they did and she just looks around in embarrassment. ❛ h-hey… it’s okay, you– you didn’t know i was behind you. ❜

imogen had been completely inmersed in the conversation she’d been having. turning corners out of habit, she didn’t even bother to look where she was heading. trusting that her gut and instincts would take her to the correct location, she proceeded to give her undevided attention to the main problem at hand: her dad. albeit imogen’s fiery temper, when it came to her dad she was never able to fully evoke the boiling rage within her. the natural disasters that laid dormant in her continued to lay in their sleep for the fear instilled in her was too deep. as much as she tried to deny it she knew. she knew that she had to respect him, she knew that there was no way out of the hellhole — much to her dismay their lives where intrically connected. this time was no different than the rest. trying to control the tone of her voice, she started swinging her arms around as if the culprit of her rage was in front of her but it was all for naught for her father had hung up on her. unable to have the last word, imogen swung her hand with tremenduous amount of force cursing him out loud. “ fucking bast — ” however her words where cut short when the stinging sensation finally hit her. “ oh shit.”  she cursed again but now due to the stinging sensation that was left on her hand. “ i’m so sorry ! i didn’t see you there. you ought to speak up kid.” without intending for it to happen, her apology ended up coming out as a complain instead.

✧ mok.

“it’s about time you treated me to something that’s a threat to my wellbeing on purpose instead of on accident,” mok quirked a brow, biting his lower lip around a smile as he sidled up beside the redhead making a show of ogling the bare expanse of skin on display. “is this what you’re up to nowadays?” he inquired playfully, “skulking around small towns and flashing your tits for handouts at the bar? tsk.” his gaze lifted to meet hers, voice lowering to something gentler. “think they could buy me a bottle?”

“ oh come on ! ” imogen’s eyebrows twitched at the mention of her past failures. having been accostumed to success and overflowing praise from her peers, she couldn’t believe she’d repeatedly attempted to master a craft she obviously had no luck with — all in the name of love. “ they didn’t taste that bad ...”  she trailed off trying to reminisce those days,  only to end up shuddering instead. “ except for the ones i gave you for valentine’s day. ” she added with a sheepish smile. her excitment had reached such heights that day that in her haste to succeed, she’d switch the sugar with salt. needless to say the result was nowhere as sweet as she’d hoped. “ hey ! ” she exclaimed in mock indignation. " not only for handouts at the bar. these two are great for bypassing speeding tickets as well. ” winking she didn’t bother camouflaging the smugness in her voice for she was proud of the attributes she’d been blessed with. “ please only one bottle ? ” she taunted him. “ how bout we have a drinking contest ? for old times sake. ”

“the best advice that anyone has given you is tatas on the table? tatas? what kind of word is that?” silver asked with a small laugh, not completely sure if he understood her correctly with her ‘tatas’ on the table. “thank you though for the free drink,” he said as he turned around to order another drink for himself but now on the female her costs instead of his own.

“ yes, tatas. ” she bobbed her in agreement trying to maintain a serious experession in the process. “ in my defense the advice was given to me by an old jeezer in his late 70‘s. apart from cussing like an old sailor and drinking more beer than i thought was possible, he was a mad genius at poker. ” emptying her glass in one go, the corner of her lips lifted upwards when she thought of the old man. “ he even tried to jazz it up by giving it an acronym. tott. he claimed it his own masterpiece. ” shaking her head she giggled at the silliness of this conversation, aware that she’d also been one to question the terminology of his advice. “ and you’re welcome. if i were you i’d take this opportunity and order all the expensive drinks. ”

“oh– i don’t know if i can keep him. i mean, i can barely take care of myself. don’t cats need like a lot of stuff? like… beds and toys and shit? i don’t really have the space for it.” blue chuckled, giving a small tap on the van behind his back. “he found me, actually. climbed through the window of the van hen i wasn’t around. found him chewing on my herbs a few days ago.”

“ true but compared to dogs, cats are pretty independent. they don’t need to be taken out for walks and toys aren’t that big of a deal. they’ll be entretained just by destroying your shoelaces. ” imogen giggled at the last comment, finding the image that it portrayed amusing. sitting next to him in the van she did notice an inconvinence. “ but i am worried about where you’d put the litter box. the smell would make the van unhabitable. ” scrunching her nose she doubted anyone would want to live with such a smell. “ have you set up any posters ? maybe someone out there is looking for him ? if no one turn up what are you gonna do with him ? ”

✧ piper.

it was one busy night while piper was on shift yet she managed to sit beside the strawberry blonde for a few minutes while everyone was busy downing their drinks. she had her back to the bar as they watched everyone go crazy, and they snuck a glance at the girl beside her. her eyebrows raised slightly when the other spoke to her before cracking a smile, ❝ can’t argue that ❞ she kept her eyes above the girl’s chest while the other pointed out her shirt. ❝ i’d love to, but i’m actually the one providing you drinks. just, um, taking a quick break. ❞

hearing the brunette’s remark, imogen immediately broke out into a sheepish smile. “ then all the more reason i should be the one inviting ! you deserve more than a quick break for all the work you’re doing.” she exclaimed hoping to be able to convince the other party in joining them for a drink. taking into the account the boisterous establishment, it wouldn’t take a genius to realise how exhausting it was to work during the peak hours. “ how long till your shift ends ? ”

       caspian was often times compared to that of a teddy bear - it was easy for people to go one step further & to also call him a care bear. a colorful animal that spent all it’s time trying to help & care for the people around it. —- & that’s exactly what caspian was doing while he stood at the side of the red-head. he had shown up for his own amusement before spotting the familiar face & soon finding himself drawn to her side. “ i don’t— i don’t want anything to drink. ” there’s a pause in his speech as he reaches out to grab hold of the bottom of her shirt - just with his thumb, first, & middle finger. “ i think we should get going now. ”

“ are you sure ? ” she insisted unwilling to give up that easily. “ you don’t need to hold back caspian ! the drinks are all on me — or should i say us ? ” wiggling her eyebrows she flaunted the stack of money she’d hid between her breasts. albeit an unconventional hiding spot it was the best place imogen could think for safe keeping. the outfit she’d chosen for tonight’s adventure fit her like a glove but in exchange she’d sacrifice the practicality of built in pockets. “ come on it’s too early to leave yet. i’m not even drunk. ” crossing her arms, she tried to hold her ground by calling over the bartender and asking for another round of shots. “ gentleman, would you do me the honor of joining me in celebrating tonight’s brilliant preformance ? ” she questioned amidst giggles.

‘twas a rare night for cooper wells – he’d managed to have the night off and he managed to spend that night at someplace other than the tavern. to top it all off, he managed to find himself in a circle of people that he usually wouldn’t be caught dead with gambling his week’s earnings away. as the fiery female next to him begin to speak, a small smirk danced across the male’s lips. had she not realized who was sitting next to her during that round? “whatever i like? damn – you never even treated me this good when we were together,” he winked, glancing over at her. it was a lie, of course – he was the shitty one in their relationship. “have to admit, though,” his eyes trailing down the plunge of her dress rather slowly, smirk still lustful on his lips, “you’re looking hot as hell tonight..”

imogen had mastered the art of the poker face from a young age. it was a necessity, a survival tactit, required to survive the prescott household and as much as she despied her old man she was thankful. thankful of learning how to numb her emotions — but try as she might she wasn’t a robot. there were times when she was caught off guard being this a prime example. grimacing at the sound of his voice she didn’t even bother concealing the disgust and contempt that were now clouding her features. “ careful, i might just poision your drink when you’re not looking. ” she hissed. altough a mild threat, she was’t in a mood to be toyed with. “ and to think this could’ve been ... all yours. ” aware where his train of thought was heading she leaned forward closing the distance between the two slowly. “ pity you couldn’t keep it in your pants, cooper. ” she sneered in his ear before pulling back abruptly.

at the back of a bustling bar, imogen was chugging down shots of tequila with an ecstatic smile plastered all over her face. tonight had been incredible. she’d gone all in and somehow managed to bluff her way into a win. the rewards, needless to say, had been enough to earn the vexation of the other players and imogen reveled in it. ordering another round of drinks, she leaned towards the person next to her in an attempt to convey the secret of her success. “ the best advice that anyone has ever given me is tatas on the table. ” smirking she pointed to the deep plunge that barely left anything to the imagination. “ anyways feel free to order whatever you like, it’s all on me. ”

“um…” blue looked away from the notebook he has in hands as he sat comfortably on the folding chair next to his van when the stray cat jumped off of his lap, watching it as it marched to the person passing by with intent. “is he yours? i found him a few days ago and i haven’t seen him give a shit about anyone but me ever since.”

shaking her head, she tried her best not to give into the cuteness of the scene taking place infront of her eyes. “ i say you keep him. it’s obvious this little fellow has chosen you as his owner so just embrace the fact that you now have a new member in the family. ” aware that there was no way she’d let the chance of petting him slip by she stepped carefully as not to scare the cat away. “ where did you find him ? he’s in pretty good shape for being a stray. ”

“QUICK question,” he says, a large smirk forming on the brunet’s face as he does so. hazel hues lazily moving from the person back to the object of his affection, “how much do you THINK it’d take for me to get that pretty blond over there to suck me off? she’s been eyeing me for a while, so i’m positive she already wants to.”

“ should we make this a bet ? ” she asked unable to resist the thrill that the word brought her. turning around discreetly to catch a glimpse of the woman in question, her eyes widened as soon as she realised who he was talking about. a light chuckle couldn’t help but escape her lips. “ you do realise she’s out of your league don’t you ? ” she questioned the male in hopes that they still had a hold over the sanity. “ a balenciaga handbag and louboutin for high heels ? you better watch your groin when you approach her. ” by now she could hardly contain her laughter. “ i bet 100 bucks you won’t even get her number.”

‘ if you’re looking for the bathroom it’s down the hall. ’ marco snickered , pulling his t-shirt over his head. it was pretty common for the employee room to be confused with the restrooms , even more common where you work in a place full of drunk people. ‘ i spilled tequila on my shirt , i’ll be outside to make drinks shortly. ’

“ i know my way ‘round here, darling. ” crossing her arms, a defiant look took over her features. she felt offended that someone could even imply she was lost. after all the nightwing had become her second home —  apart from the black cat that is. making no attempt to mask the lust in her eyes, imogen made her way slowly towards him. “ such a shame that the tequila got wasted like that. a pity indeed. ” the corners of her lips tugged upwards when she realised that her shift had just finished. “ well ... ” she drawled. “ seeing as im off the clock right now i guess i could stay for some drinks. the important thing is ... do they include a stripping show ? because boy could you make some good money with those abs. ”
