Miles went through the rest of his classes as usual but once the bell rang to alert that the school day was over, he had to make a decision. He went to his locker to put some books that he wasn’t going to take home with him in it and then he made his way over to his english classroom. Sighing softly, he grabbed the handle to the door and turned it, opening it before walking into the classroom and sitting on a desk infront of the teachers desk.
Imogen sat in the front of the room, focused on a stack of papers she was trying to file in front of her. As she heard the shuffle of feet, brown hues were lifted from the distraction in her hands. Smiling brightly, she saw a very unhappy boy in front of her. Returning his sigh with a pout and sigh of her own, she stood and walked to the front of her own desk, leaning back against it. “Well, look, you already did one of the harder parts- actually showing up.” Her pout had now been replaced with a small smirk. Reaching behind her, she grabbed the test she had put aside, red marks scattered about the page. “So, go through this test, show me which ones were the hardest for you. We can work on those first. Just circle what questions threw you off...” A petite hand slid the paper onto his desk, painted fingertips pressing against it as she waited for him to slide it closer.

Eli was on lunch break when he noticed a familiar looking girl walk into the Cafeteria of New York University. He furrowed his brows before making his way over to her. “Imogen?”
The brunette had ushered her way through the cafeteria, pearly whites clamping down onto her bottom lip as she tried to take in the entire crowd, that was until she heard a familiar voice. “Eli! It’s like magic, you found me.”

Jake: If we could get food through the phone, I'd have no reason to see you again.
Jake: Kidding!
Jake: I mean, isn't that what everyone wants? To be happy? I want you to be happy, Ims. Let me think, who's tall and goofy that I know...what about Mo? You can be one of those couples who combine names. Momogen.
Jake: Nooo don't cry, nothing makes me more upset than seeing you cry.
Jake: I know you, I know there are probably a ton of clothes and art supplies everywhere. I can't wait to see you either. We can have a movie night, right? I just want to relax for once, I've been so on edge lately.
Jake: I would figure it out. There are jobs, right? I could always save and take secret flights to visit you. That would work, I think.
Jake: I'll tell her when the time is right. Maybe.
Jake: I'll shave my head and run away.
Jake: I know you do, but I feel like I'm not doing my friendly duties by not asking you what you've been up to. How's your uh, dad?
Imogen: That is just cruel, sir. You would totally miss my hugs!
Imogen: Probably, though I am sure there are people who don't? Who knows? Oh god, I do love Mo...as a friend. Plus, isn't he still with Marisol? Momogen sounds like a Pokemon, Jake! Which, is kind of cool, but no. I will find Mr. Right when he's ready to find me. Ya dig?
Imogen: No crying, just as long as you don't stop seeing me or whatever.
Imogen: You...well, you're right, but I'll clean it! I promise. So you can at least sit on the couch...Also, I /might/ have a roommate but you'll like him...
Imogen: Secret flights, like we're spies. Interesting.
Imogen: No! DOn't shave your head! Your hair is so pretty...
Imogen: Dad is...some days are good, some aren't. His nurse called to let me know he fell a few days ago, but nothing too big. Just a little shock and a bruise...
Staying after school was the last thing that Miles wanted to do, in fact, he would much rather be anywhere else but school, but he knew that the teacher had his best interests in mind. Letting out a soft sigh, he nodded his head. “I will see you then.” He stated as he moved his arm up to the strap of his bag and fixed it along his shoulder.
Imogen nodded as she listened to the boy, it was obvious he was not into the whole idea but something seemed to flow- now if he would actually show up, or try if he did, that would be the icing on Imogen’s small cupcake for the day. The rest of the day seemed normal as she went about grading her papers and even teaching when the teacher would step out. The bell rang, as per usual, to alert school was over, leaving the woman alone in the classroom to tidy up; and wait to see if Miles would show.
Getting to my replies...I have no m on my keyboard so it’s making things hard...Sorry for being gone, I am back!
a plot where muse a is 18/19 and his parents are divorced and he’s been living with his mom in a whole different state because he really hates his dad and wanted to be as far away from him as possible. his father is a rich business man who never had time for him when he was younger which eventually broke his family apart. a couple of years later, his father invites him to stay with him for the summer to make up for lost time. he doesn’t want to go but eventually gives in because his mother begs him to go. muse a is dragged to one of his father’s business parties against his will one night. at the event, he sees muse b admiring a painting in a room. muse a approaches muse b who is in her mid 20s and instantly starts flirting with her, insisting that she was more beautiful than the artwork itself. they have a flirtatious conversation, sharing laughs and compliments before his dad comes up, placing a hand on muse b’s back and saying, “son, i see you met my fiancee.” and muse a is just baffled because how could someone as beautiful and sweet as her be with such an asshole??? imagine all the angst and sneaking around!!

Jake: Aren't we in the time of The Jetsons? Why can't you just send me half of your sandwich through the phone? The future was all a lie.
Jake: Eh
Jake: And Eli is alright. He's no me or anything. :P
Jake: Are there really no guys at your school? They can't all be not your type. Actually, what is your type? I can't remember you ever having one.
Jake: Yeah, but there's always the notion of these texts just buying us time until we see each other again. Which, if I play my cards right, I think I'll be able to drive out to you this weekend. My dad has some work out there and I can always tell Katie I'm helping him out.
Jake: I just wish she would take the time to get to know you. I mean, it would take all of ten minutes of her talking to you for her to know you'd never see me that way. And then I wouldn't have to lie about coming to visit you.
Jake: Maybe I'll hold off for telling her long enough and pretend to have forgotten that she suggested it? Who am I kidding, Katie is the biggest planner I've ever met. Moreso than Clare. She'd never let me forget the deadline to submitting my application was coming. I'll figure it out, alright?
Jake: I uh, actually just ended up leaving. She's that weird kind of angry when she's not yelling, but you can see the fire in her eyes. I'm probably going to pay for this tomorrow but whatever, I'm getting donuts.
Jake: I've spent way too much time talking about myself. Shit. What did you do today, how was your day, what are you doing right now?
Imogen: Can you imagine if we really could get food through the telephone? Oh man...I would have munchies all the time. Damn you cartoons for lying to me.
Imogen: I mean, trueee, he is no Jake Martin. ;)
Imogen: Type? Pft, Imogen Moreno has very broad tastes. She just wants to be happy though. None of these folks make her the right amount of happy, ja feel? Though, tall and goofy seems to happen a lot with me.
Imogen: I would just cry about not seeing you. However, oh my god, yess! I'll clean the apartment...not that it's messy or anything. nope. Living alone was totally not a bad idea. Dorm living was totally not easier. I can't wait to see you though, ahh.
Imogen: I wish you didn't have to lie either, but ugh, what would I do without my Jake time? My morning Jake and Bakes...-insert whining clingy noise here- Dude, no way would Katie Matlin of all people forget that...but it might be best to wait it out until she mentions it again? Then just say you were actually thinking a lot about it and blahblahblah
Imogen: Eek. I hope I never have to give you that look, Jake Martin. I just might if you keep mentioning food, this homework is killing me and I need food.
Imogen: Ssh, I like talking about you so it ain't no big thang. Okay, I'm sorry, I'm done. But really, I'm doing homework and debating on pizza. Do I order pizza? My day was full of school and I did feed this little bird in the park, it was just the crust to my sandwich but it seemed pretty happy about it!

Jake: And make sandwiches, Shaggy and Scooby sandwiches are pure gold. Actually, I want a sandwich right now, but if I ask Katie to make me one I think I'd seem sexist.
Jake: Jesus, she can never find out. She would murder me, bring me back, yell at me, and murder me again. I don't think she thinks he's cool, I think she thinks I won't ever bang him.
Jake: JOKES ON HER, ELI AND I ARE ALWAYS NAKED CUDDLING.
Jake: That's cute...I guess. And super girly. Have you been watching too many chick flicks lately?
Jake:I don't want to move that far away from you! Or move far at all. If I go where she wants us, if things don't work out I'm just kind of there alone. I'd have no one else but her. And who's to say you wouldn't get tired of only texting and skyping all the time?
Jake: I can't tell her that. I mean, even though I hate how much she nags, I do like her a lot. I don't want to disappoint her, I can't take it when she cries.
Jake: You can give me that girl insight that I'm missing. Aren't your bras magic or something? You can tell me why Katie is currently giving me the evil eye from across the room I think she figured out I'm not researching universities please send help if I die you can have my truck make sure Eli knows I love him rip
Imogen: Oh my God! A sandwich! That is what I need right now...
Imogen: And done, if you couldn't tell, there was a good 3 minute gap there as I threw it together and omg it's amazing. Also, it's not like you would "bang" me either. You already said it. So, what's there to worry about, right? And hey, Eli is super cool!
Imogen: Shut uppp, maybe I have. Maybe I just need to get my cuddle on. Do you know how long it's been? Too long.
Imogen: First off, I would never get tired of texting you, as you can see by the massive amount of texts I send to you. However, I don't think Katie would let you do much skyping with me. Which makes me one sad Imogen. Not to mention, being stuck out there really would suck. I would rescue you though! On a mighty steed!
Imogen: You gotta figure out something to tell her. Maybe that you're not ready to go yet? You don't want to rush anything? I mean, she can accept it or not. Hopefully she will... oh my god, please don't die. I need youuu. eLI NEEDS you. you haven't even totally taught me how to drive that big truck omg no dying.
Miles never liked going to tutoring. He was always the type of person to see it as a waste of time. He never thought it would help because each tutoring session that he was made to go to, he ended up failing the subject anyways. “Sorry, but I think I’ll pass on your offer.” was what he wanted to reply, but when he heard her say that it would be one on one, he figured it wouldn’t be as embarrassing. “Would it be after school, or after class?” He asked.
Imogen could tell that he wasn’t the type to enjoy anything to do with school, especially extra work with school. The feeling in the pit of her stomach continued, dread for the poor soul in front of her. “After school, don’t want to interfere with your other classes and whatnot. Just come after the bell and we can focus on whatever is bothering you the most...work from there.” She took a deep breath in, standing back up and smoothing on the soft fabric of her darkly patterned dress; even within the schools dress code for the teachers, she was sure to stand out. “I’ll be waiting, I think it would be really good if you showed up...” She nodded, “You can go to lunch now...just, think about coming back this afternoon okay? Like I said, it’ll just be me...and that whole stack of papers to grade in here.”

Jake: Of course, that's always how it is right? Shaggy, Scooby, and Velma go one way, Fred and Daphne go a different way.
Jake: Oh, come on, it can't be that surprising. You're not the worst person I could be talking to. It's weird, she's actually okay with how much I time I spend with Eli. but she doesn't know that we're smoking.
Jake: Yeah, I beat guys off with a stick constantly. They're like, Jake man, when are you gonna set me up with that Imogen girl. Should I be letting them through?
Jake: Yeah, true. I feel like everything is happening so fast. I don't even know what I want to do, and she wants me to go to university with her, I wouldn't even be able to drive to see you with how far she wants us to go. Hmm, maybe that's her plan.
Jake: You're a girl, do you think I talk to you too much?
Imogen: Exactly! Us three can solve the crime, while they do...whatever it is they do.
Imogen: It is, trust me. I also feel that if miss K-T knew about the SMO-KEY (hehe I'm so clever) she would be very upset. I wish she would be okay with me too, not fair. God dang it, Eli for just being that cool.
Imogen: Mm, nah. I'm waiting for someone special. You'll figure out which guy to let through eventually because I'll beat you with a stick if you don't.
Imogen: Nooo, don't say that. The times I get to see you are the best, you can't move THAT far from me. I'd die without you. Or starve. Something! I mean...she is a little spiteful one- with a brain. She could have plotted it, but I doubt it? Maybe though... However, if you don't want to go, don't. If you won't be happy, don't do it. Tell her that.
Imogen: I think you talk a good amount, an amount I can dig. But what does me being a girl have to do with that, sir?

Jake: As long as Eli is Scooby. Oh god, I have to text him that. Please photoshop a picture of Eli as Scooby.
Jake: According to Katie I shouldn't be. It's getting kind of frustrating, I'm literally doing everything I can think of to keep her happy, and then the second she sees your name pop up on my phone, I suddenly become the enemy.
Jake: It's not like she has anything to worry about, you're like my sister.
Jake: That's the thing, I...kind of don't want to go to college. I feel like I should, because it's the right thing to do, but I really just want to spend some time out in the world, getting life experience. Who knows, maybe I'll end up near you again.
Imogen: You got it, boss! This will be plastered on the web. Can I be Velma, pleeease?
Imogen: Ugh, well that's just not fair. Whoa, someone /jealous/ of me? As if. Probably just that she doesn't have your FULL attention. If Eli texted you, it'd be the same probs.
Imogen: A hot sister, right? That you have to keep all your friends from dating because too precious. I get it.
Imogen: Well, if it's not in the books for you yet, don't go. Don't be unhappy. Life is way too short, Mr. Martin! And oh golly, if only I could be so lucky :P

Jake: You just described my ideal date. Well, and a little bit of uh, you know. What I did with Eli.
Jake: I dunno, she's always busy, but if I'm ever busy she gets annoyed, as though I shouldn't be. Or she gets upset if I'm texting while I'm with her.
Jake: Like now. But she's just going on about something Maya did and I'm nodding enthusiastically and pretending to look up this engineering program at the university she's going to.
Jake: Did I tell you about that?
Imogen: Of course, that's how you put away so much food isn't it? Oh my God...Like Shaggy! From Scooby Doo.
Imogen: You're allowed to get busy too, silly. And you have to fill me in on what's going on, right? Texting is understood here.
Imogen: Oh no, Maya. And no, that's awesome. You're going to be even further away from me though. :(

Jake: I really don't see why not, I mean, you'd be a good girlfriend, I think.
Jake: I don't know, Katie, what else? I didn't have these problems when I dated Clare, she always says I don't see her enough. Or I'm always busy with my phone.
Imogen: Seriously, who doesn't want to go exploring and eat burritos? Eh.
Imogen: Clurr was different, she had so much going on in her own little head. Anyway, how does she figure that? I thought she was the one that was always busy? :( Poor Jakey.
