Insta360 X5 overnight video captured lots of great views. Set it up out on the pier and came back the next morning.
Setting up at the SCAS Winter Star Party in the Florida Keys. With the breeze (wonderful during the day, trouble maker at night) itāll be some different kinds of shots here. Lots of digging in to long videos on the Insta 360 X5 for overnight shots.
And 2 minutes on M8 Lagoon Nebula. Love seeing the structure start to pop out that fast.
Unistellar Odyssey
2 minutes on M20 Trifid with the Unistellar Odyssey- looks great
Still in Box Canyon in NM outside Socorro
And another Milky Way view from the same time lapse video
And the big experiment on this trip was a Milky Way time lapse with an Insta360 X5 360 camera running iso 3200 and 30 second frame exposures. After setting it up I ignored it for a few hours so Iāll say that met my impatience threshold. Lots of fun pulling different fields of view after the fact to share.
A few stills from the Insta360 X5 time lapse at various angles (really like the post processing in any direction after the fact).
A few iPhone 16 photos of the Milky Way. These were hand held (no tripod this time) sitting super still in a chair
Omega Nebula was super bright almost immediately
Some new images to share from Box Canyon outside Socorro NM. These are from the Unistellar Odyssey, iPhone and some new experiments with the Insta360 C5 360 degree camera for some Timelapseās.
2 minute view of M57 Ring Nebula. Great colors appearing.
Unistellar eVscope 2, Pie Town NM
M8 Lagoon Nebula - this is what a Unistellar eVscope can bring to life in just 2 minutes. Love these scopes.
