hazel never meant to harm anyone, it was more her ability doing everything it could to keep hazel safe from those who might harm her. growing up she never was able to stand up for herself against hostile people. so her ability would come out to help her stay safe. “h-how did you do that?” she asked nervously. “and i didn’t mean to attack... when i’m scared... it just happens..” she explained to her.

birdi looked between the two records in her hands before placing one down and holding the other close to her chest. "sgt. pepper…” she sighed. “you’re a girl after my own heart.” she dramatically sighed taking another look at the record. “the beatles really knew what they were talking about.” she mutter to herself, eyes coming back to meet the brunette. “i’m birdi.”

“what can i say? while my mom might be a bit not fully there, she is fully there when it comes to music.” she replied to birdi with a smile. “you are not wrong about that.” she said. “it’s nice to meet you birdi, i’m hazel.” she introduced herself.

“i look forward to that day then.“ meeting people was always something that aro had enjoyed. not even for the potential prospects of gaining a new guard member or meal, but he was born for a world of politics. that meant nothing without people. “custody is a tricky thing. i’m glad that at least one of you got to stay with her. i have my own set of twins that i have come to take care of, i would fight to the ends of the earth to keep them with me.” with his apparent age someone who didn’t know he was a vampire would probably assume they were extremely young. “you know how they say crime makes a place a hotspot. there’s a lot of energy here, people are probably just curious as to what lies beneath the surface.”

though stella knew she would do everything in her power to keep her mom far away from any vampire. she knew her mom couldn’t exactly defend herself if the vampire ever found out she was a child of the moon. “well that’s what happens when you have those close to you. i mean, while my sister and i haven’t seen each other in like a decade, in person. we pretty much video chat every day or every other day.” she explained to aro. “well it seems like the more people that come here, the more death happens.. which makes me think this place is attracting the wrong energy.” she explained.

brianna enjoyed being in volterra, only because felix was there. she hated being around so many hostile vampires in one place. but she knew as long as she was under the protection of the lamias and being felix’s mate, she would be safe from death. but she still didn’t like the volturi and would hope to someday get him away from the coven. “i mean, who knows, you might be harmful for my heart.” she teased with a smile. she wrapped her arms around his neck so happy to be able to be with him again.

Liam, despite not actually being able to get drunk anymore, found himself in one of the very very few Irish bars in town. Despite the tacky decor, Liam found the dark wood and over whelming smell of old ale, a comfort. Sliding into a booth near the back of the bar, he ordered a pint and lingered over it when the stout arrived. Eventually glancing up, Liam eyed the person currently casting a shadow over his table and inhaled a sharp breath. “Something i can help you with friend?” he asked, tone unkind and pointed.

elliana went to the bar to either meet someone to spend the night with or her next meal, matters how the night goes. when she got there she noticed liam, being a part of the english coven meant that she ran into the irish coven from time to time. “sorry, didn’t mean to stare, just needed to make sure it was you liam, i wasn’t expecting to see you in a town like this.” the vampire said.

Birdi was standing in her favorite place in Denali, an old record shop. It had all different types of records from old rock bands, to even some current singers whose music was just copied onto a record. No one really came in, which made it all the best to loose it in. She raised her eyebrows looking up slightly at the person across the bins from her. “Sorry, quick question…” She held up two records, one in each hand. “Which one do you think is better?”

hazel enjoyed going to the old record shop in town, she had a record player in her room that she would play music using every so often and she went to look through it and see if any new music was there. she looked at the two records, “while they are both really good albums, i’d have to say, sgt. pepper.” she replied to the blonde.

“have you never seen a phone before?” the gifted human asked him curiously. in the recent months hazel has noticed more and more people who act really strange around denali and she didn’t exactly know what the reason for it was. “i don’t know, i find it pretty easy, but i know most people don’t.” hazel has never been one to have many friends, so she would spend most of her time studying or on her computer so she has learned quite a few things about hacking. “not really. i mean my mom’s writing takes us all over the world. and whenever we are about to move again.. stuff happens at my school or around my neighborhood that makes me so happy to leave.” mostly her ability does something to protect her when she is in trouble and she hurts someone without knowing how. like scrambling their mind, giving them complete amnesia, or even controlling them in a way.

alethea chuckled softly at aro. “just a little word of advice aro, if you want to blend in like this, you should understand all the latest technology and stuff like that.” the original replied to the vampire. it had been quite a few centuries since alethea last saw aro, mostly because her family did everything they could to stay out of vampire drama and stuff like that. “and matters the type of person, like nik probably could careless about learning to hack that, while i could do it easily because i dabble in things when i get bored.” she said. “and i mean, there really isn’t anywhere i call home, i mean, maybe greece. but i do go back there from time to time.”

that name was a blast from the past and he was sure that they had countless of stories of him and the rest of the volturi. “of course i’ve heard about them. nice to see that they have broadened their horizons and have went into adopting others.” if they could do it, then why couldn’t aro? “i’d like to form my judgments of people upon my interactions with them, but to each their own. no matter what, i do respect your family so if you want to follow their word then so be it.” he wasn’t going to kneel over easily to them, but he did appreciate them. “have you followed the work of francessor solimena? he was always a favorite of mine.”

“well wasn’t like they signed up to adopt a kid or anything. my parents were killed by that newborn army in seattle almost a decade ago and i was almost killed until i was saved and since i knew about vampires, i couldn’t exactly go to a human adoptive parent after.” she explained to him. though she knew her family did love her, it wasn’t like they chose to adopt a human. “maybe if that person wasn’t known to destroy covens for power.” she replied. “i have, my biological mother did her masters on his art work. so he was one of the first artists my mom taught me about when i was little.”

without even mentioning him by name, aro’s eyes sparkled at the idea of edward being somewhere around here too. that meant that bella and alice weren’t too far away either. “you’ll find that i’m a bit more capable in some aspects. our powers are reversed, so imagine what i can gleam from a person with a touch.” their history and why they did certain things was always something that aro wanted to pay attention to. “kept you out of my radar and reach, that was for sure.” his chuckle echoed through their immediate area. “i’m sure you must be craving. denying one half of yourself doesn’t sound fun.”

“our powers aren’t exactly reverse.” she said softly. the power aro was talking about was only have her ability with shield penetration being the other part of her power. she had the reverse ability of both of her parents. “i think it was more so i could be raised without volturi interference, wanting to try to give me a normal childhood, not one with you or your guards always popping in.” she replied. “i mean.. from time to time, yeah. but for the most part candies and sweets help to ignore the cravings.” she mostly didn’t drink animal blood because renesmee never really liked it like she liked human blood, so it was better to not drink blood.

renesmee rested her head on her dad’s chest and wrapped her arms around him. while both of her parents were ice cold to her, she didn’t care, it was a feeling renesmee was use to and she just loved them so it didn’t bother her. “i know. but you and mon show that it can be worth it.” she smiled.

“i can understand that. some of my siblings tease me for my lifestyle from time to time. but i had little babies was i became a vampire and i wanted to raise them, so i chose to drink from animals to help me with my control.” she explained to him. “i am, while my siblings and i have been all around the world, we’ve never been here before.”

“we follow some of them and don’t really care for others.” the vampire chuckled softly. “like we don’t bring unwanted attention to ourselves or anything. but we don’t bend to their every rule, like my sibling adopted a human child who learned about the supernatural world and she is still human. since she has made her desire to stay human known and we wouldn’t want to turn her unless she wanted to.” she explained to him.
