Sure looks like an awful lot of overlap between the category and the specific disease. Given that not all STDs have the same degree of transmissibility, one can conclude that there is more of a spectrum rather than a strict set list of criteria that says Only this list qualifies for inclusion.

Seems like very little doubt that monkeypox was spread as an STD in large part.
