                     He didn’t understand the weakness she felt. No one ever will and                      it wasn’t even that she WANTED to be alone. No, she hated it, the                      terrifying solitude. She was alone for a very long time.

        As wicked and sadistic as he may be at times, Lyon never saw bloodshed as a way to settle or clarify anything. It was obvious by now that hatred consumed her, it wasn’t weakness that blinded her but her own vision of right and wrong.

Her laughter calmed into a gentle smile. She had known he would say something like that. She couldn’t deny that she was happy that he would be escorting her though. Some company on this job would be appreciated. 

The delivery would be done much faster and she could spend some time with him. She hadn’t seen him in what seemed like a long time after all. Being in different guilds made it hard to see each other often. 

“If Lyon-sama insists…” Potential dangers? On a delivery? She wouldn’t argue, but she didn’t see what could possibly go wrong. It would be handy to have another set of arms to carry things though.

❝ Ꮍosh! ❞ exclaimed Lyon, for all he knew the type of job didn’t matter anymore.  ❝ Ꮃant another apple?. ❞ Was his nonchalant question.

Ｎext thing you know, they were walking —though the destination was unbeknownst to the lunar haired wizard— and chatted all along the way.
