"What... is this place...?" She walked into a square room that had a beige-colored wallpaper applied to it. There seemed to be a table and chair in here...
The lighting in room didn't change compared to the actual level... In fact, it's worse here. The brightness of the lights seem to fluctuate a good amount more.
Having something to actually sit on was something that Reimu would've loved to have sooner. She sat on the chair.
"...? Is that a folder...?" Noticing something on the table, Reimu went ahead and grabbed it.
"Hm... there's a good number of papers in here..." With how this is the only thing she's found so far that'd likely give her some sort of entertainment, she took to reading the papers inside this odd folder.
The more she read of the documents in the folder, the more surprised and confused she became. These documents covered a variety of topics, all themed around this... whole other world she's in. It seems to be called the Backrooms...
Stuff like a beginner's guide on the Backrooms, aguide on common and dangerous monsters called entities, something that... somehow, she already knew how to do despite not remembering that she could called 'noclipping'... even a guide on important levels, as shown below!
"...W-Wait a minute, this is so...? Beyond what I expected...?" She had to get up and take a step back from the table... Preferably until her back's touching the wall.
"So... I'm in some place called the Backrooms and I'm in level 0..? Out of like... a whole lot of other levels? It did say that there's way more than the levels that were listed..."
"There are people other than whoever in Gensokyo fell in here, and they've been in here for... longer than decades..?" She's having a hard time trying to both understand it all and take all this information in... It took her a few silent pauses between speeches just to relay the information to herself in a condensable manner.
"A-And there's just... no way out of this world..? That... t-there's no way that's true... This..." Her breathing starts getting erratic. She's at a loss. There's no way such an inescapable world exists, right?
"...Y-You know what, no! I'm not believing this! There's gotta be an exit from this world! Heck, I might just be dreaming actually!" She told herself, with denial stuck on her face.
"...I-I'm getting out of here..!" She left through the same opening she had entered into this room through. Well, she knows the name of it now, thanks to the document folders. Seems what she was in was called the Manila Room...
