What’s a good horror show?
Let me introduce you to the plagueround. All of the main characters have trauma and problems. One of them is a serial killer by accident, one is apart of a repressive cult, one is ashamed and neglected by his parents and then there’s the last one. Oh boy.
The last boy… wow. He is neglected by his family. He has no self worth. Only has self doubt. Gets backed into a corner constantly. Has a physical reminder of ‘how much of a let down’ he is. He is on death’s door. He never appreciates his only real family (aka Poe) until it’s too late and Poe sacrifices himself. The people that were supposed to protect him (the teachers) failed him. DID I MENTION HE ALMOST DIES FOR A BIT AND THEN POE DIES.
The worst part is you grow to love Poe and trust he will be fine. He was doomed from the start. It was planned all along and there’s nothing you can do about it. Poe didn’t have an ounce of evil in him.
I’d say it’s pretty horrifying for 11 year old boys… and scarring for the watchers
