Made these to submit to teefury, the screen tone looks fab in photoshop but I donāt know how well its showing up on the web. Oh well :|
"Yeah, Iām full-time for the summer, but Iāve still got enough time for hanging out with friends. And superheroing, of course. Why?"
"I was thinking you and I should hang out. If I can fit it in my schedule." Vic winked.
"Hah..." Teddy ducks his head. The wink throws him off his gang. He and Billy are both pretty famous for being 'out and proud' or whatever, and he's been chatted up by far more gay guys that he can count as a result--but he was with Billy for all of that so it never seemed...
Real. It never seemed real. Or relevant even. Now that he's on the market again--a phrase that makes him feel a lot like packaged meat--it doesn't feel so Safe and Funny anymore. It seems like a real proposal and a real option--and it's strange and inviting and sort-of kind-of really scary.
Or, you know, maybe he's overthinking things. Friends wink at each other all the time.
But Vic is cute, and Teddy's favorite color is green and he loves lizards more than anything except Nintendo, so. He flirts, anyway. Just to be safe.
"Well, if you can squeeze me in--" And Teddy raises his eyebrows Ā and hopes that doesn't sound like an innuendo, because as impressive as that sex joke would be he's not trying to come off too strong here, "I'd love to." He smiles. "Tomorrow maybe? Or, uh. This Saturday, if you're not busy. Do you have my number? I can give you my number, if you want. So your people can call my people, of course."

"Well yeah," Vic said, "but at least youāre a superhero, right? Thatās pretty glorious when it works out. How busy do they have you anyway? Do you ever get free time?"
"Yeah, I'm full-time for the summer, but I've still got enough time for hanging out with friends. And superheroing, of course. Why?"
"Iāll keep that in mind." He smiles. "So. Is that a no-no on the cocoa?"
"N-no, IādĀ love to. I justā¦ I mean, are youĀ sure?ā
"Why wouldn't I be? Unless you're a stalker or something. Preying on lowly nerds you find in comic book shops." He quirks an eyebrow. "Which'd make a great Lifetime movie plot, come to think of it."
Teddy picks up his strawberry latte and turns, quickly stepping out of the way so the other customers can get to their delicious, delicious fancy coffee. āHey! Vic. Itās nice to see you. Iām uh.ā Swamped. Tired. Stressed. Bored. āIām good. How are you?ā
"Dude," Vic picked up his drink and smiled. "Good, huh? Thatās great to hear! Iām doing all right. Busy as hell, though. Who knew the business world was so busy, right?ā

"Teddy!" Vic waved the Avenger down. "Teddy! I havenāt seen you since the New Year party. How are you doing?!"
Teddy picks up his strawberry latte and turns, quickly stepping out of the way so the other customers can get to their delicious, delicious fancy coffee. "Hey! Vic. It's nice to see you. I'm uh." Swamped. Tired. Stressed. Bored. "I'm good. How are you?"
"I mean you look like you walked out of an Abercrombie ad.ā
"Not shirtless enough for Hollister, huh?" His tone is teasing.
āDefinitely not shirtless enough.ā Billy tries not to sound too longing.
"I'll keep that in mind." He smiles. "So. Is that a no-no on the cocoa?"
Teddy raises his eyebrows, smiling gently. āYou meanā¦?ā

Billy looks a little more stressed then anybody should when they say āsounds great.ā
"You sure? āCuz you kinda look ready to make a run for it.ā
"Is it me?" He jokes. "I mean, I know Iām no Johnny Stormā¦" He smiles, following Billyās previous line of vision over. "But I am planning on buying you Cocoa, and I think that just about makes up for it."
A nervous laugh escapes Billy before he can stop it. āAre you kidding me? I mean, yeah, okay, Johnny Storm, but- I mean-ā He gestures wordlessly at Teddy.Ā
Teddy raises his eyebrows, smiling gently. "You mean...?"
