Hey everyone!

We apoligize for the lack of updates and progress. Everyone on the team is still in school so its hard to balance game things and school things. Development will DEFINITELY pick up once summer vacation comes around! Anyways, this is just a post to let you all know that we are still here and still looking for 3D animators, coders, voice actors, writers, and pretty much everything else. Thank you to those who are sticking with us and we hope to come out with some content very soon!

My first attempt at some digital art (with a mouse)! I know it’s far too early for fanart, but I wanted to test out doing art on my laptop rather than paper, and so this is an interpretation of Kalvin from @impulsiongame!

NEW CONCEPT ART! This one is a really rough sketch, and you know, I don't have much experience with graphic tablets... And I feel like this software's brush selection is pretty small. Here's the dreamworld we were talking about in the "advertising" post I made for Impulsion. When Kalvin falls asleep, he wakes up in this world and has to deal with the illnesses represented by monsters. -Jaegeristic

A few people have asked whether its possible to donate some money towards the project, which helps us a lot considering we're an indie production. We don't expect anyone to donate but even the smallest amounts can help towards better equipment and payment for those involved to ensure the game is at its highest quality when it is released. As of now, we aren't doing auditions YET, but we will definitely be doing so in the future, so just keep an eye out for future posts regarding the auditions.

You wanna be involved with making a game?

WELL I’m currently working alongside @hijackedcapitol, @gayrothwell and @jaegeristic on a game called “Impulsion”, which tells the story of a young Trans male names ‘Kalvin Boyas’ and his struggle within a dream world and real life. (More can be disclosed once you get on board). I’ll be writing, marketing and doing certain voice overs. We’re currently looking for more people to bring on board including writers, musicians, 3D Modellers, artists and more. And if you check out @jaegeristic’s last post (which I just reblogged) you can find more info.

IMPULSION - Video game project! WE NEED YOU!

Hello everyone! @hijackedcapitol, @arcadia-gay and I are currently working on a video game called “Impulsion” and we’re lacking of members!

So, first of all, I’m gonna tell you what’s Impulsion about:

“Kalvin Boylas is a 16 year old trans male dealing with his illnesses in a Dreamworld. In this world, he meets his best friend Alex, a bi female elf and together they fight the monsters invading Kalvin’s mind. When he wakes up, Kalvin can use what he learned from the fight against his illnesses in real life and deal with the people around him.”

There’s more to this story but I couldn’t find the paragraph sin sent me…

So, we are recruiting, for this project:

-Voice actors

-3d modelers

-Musicians

-Background concept artists

-Scripters (we will talk about that with hijacked and sin)

Sian writes and voices the story with Andrew and I’m doing the concept art for the characters.
