I think I'm about your age now when it all happened. I wonder if this is how you felt back then too. Do I wish you well? I honestly don't know. I don't want to pretend I've become some saint and let bygones be bygones. The fact that I'm bringing it up now screams that I'm not any better than the next person. But do I wish poorly for you? No. At most, I hope you're doing ok. I don't really feel anything bad except for regret. Regret that I couldn't have chosen just one side and stuck with it. Regret that I tried to appease everyone when I should have stuck with the people who chose me and let me in to their space. Do I ask for forgiveness still? I don't know if I'm seeking that to be honest. I don't believe I have a place to ask for that. I just regret. Years have pass and I still miss those times. Those days may have been the best for me. I reminiscence about it every so often even after all these years, like a first love that got away.
