I'm not usually one to be like ZOMG PARALLELS, star wars is nothing if not continually self-referential. But idk, something about seeing little Leia evoking RotJ Leia got me.

I'm an actual old person, not a 21 year old who cries about how old they are, and I've loved Leia a long fucking time. The casting of this little dynamo of a kid was absolutely perfect, and seeing the Organas together on Alderaan felt really weirdly emotional to me? I don't know, maybe it's just a combination of PMS and the world being a goddamn nightmare, but it was lovely.

And that was my "say something nice" about star wars for the next 365 days.
