to start, I would like to set a few things straight
cheetahs don't belong in north america
i will not introduce cheetahs to north america
Miracinonyx "american cheetah" was a totally different genus
cheetahs feed primarily on small ungulate prey of under 50kg. Pronghorns are 35-65 kg, so they could be used as prey, and it's possible that mule deer or white-tailed deer could occasionally be caught (though they are generally too large for a cheetah to handle) but in general, there are almost no suitable prey species. we would have to introduce small antelopes to north america and that's a whole other thing
With that out of the way:
Saiga antelope should go in North America. I think this has actually been proposed, since they were here in the Pleistocene.
Camels should also go here. I hear Australia has a major camel problem. We can take their camels, problem solved. Though it would be neat to have Bactrian camels as well.
release capybaras in USA (actually there are already some in florida)
i would also like to have tapirs but they are very tropical-climate restricted so maybe genetically modify them to have a thicker coat?
north america also needs some flightless birds. Emus already do pretty well here, and there are several feral populations I think, but there are some other options. i want to see if penguins can survive in the great lakes. also ostriches could probably thrive in many areas
cassowaries should be moved wherever is appropriate for them climate wise, because they are cool
put okapi in south america
all of the minuscule possums of australia should be distributed across the entire face of the earth. Same with echidnas.
the indian rhinoceros would probably do great in the u.s. state of georgia
put clouded leopards in the southern appalachian mountains
i have lots of other evil plans but these are the main ones
