“Well, I can’t work on my own team, and finally up from bed rest so I got assigned to follow you. So what are we doing today?”
“I fucking knew they hated me.“ Jax mumbled. “I was planning on following Vincent around. I know, don’t lecture me about fucking up our deal with ‘em. Somethin’ ain’t right with that man lately.“

“Jealous?” Conrad rolled his eyes, not looking for another lecture. “I think I dug and hit something I wasn’t supposed to. If it was preemptive, why the hell would they have let me out alive? I went in alone, it would have been easy to make me disappear.”
“Of what?“ Jax smirked. “Hey, man, calm down. Let change the subject.“
“I actually need your help with something if you’re willing to hear me out. But I need your word this stays between us.“

Achilles nodded, having heard only in rumors what had really happened. But it was hard not to like Jo, especially when you got to know her.
“I know.” It was simple enough, but Achilles was under no illusion of who they were. Rats lived and died on a daily basis, that he’d grown up with them made no difference. It certainly had made no difference to the others 5 years ago with him. “You can have him, Sam can have him, whoever. They just have to be sure they can get him. Who else is coming? Will they be able to kill someone raised like us?”
“I’ll handle him,“ Jax wasn’t sure if his tone was final or not but he did want the asshole for himself. “You’ve been here long enough. Is there anyone else you would trust or want to come along?“

He laughed. “That is true.”
Jax flashed him a smile and made to leave the room but stopped at the door. “Anything new on Vincent or D.W?”

Ray gave Jim one last blistering look before turning all his attentions onto Jax. “Ok, so how would you approach this, Jax? Knowing what you know of this situation and knowing the damage incurred against them last year.” He was sure Jax’s solution would be shot down in favor of arguing more, but wanted to see him show Nick that their generation wasn’t a wash.
Jax looked around the table, stopping on Nick for a few seconds longers before finally resting on Ray. “Each side has lost people. Loved ones. Without doing a complete overhaul of the way we do things and without giving a little, I believe we’re doomed. Not only from the vampires but everyone. And coming from the local hothead, I really need y’all to see that, that mean a lot.”
“I think...“ Jax paused, closing his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose. “Naw, I know this meeting should have happened months ago. It’s not about us anymore. We were clearly in the wrong or missed informed or whatever. Nick or Mills should personally reach out to Getta and have him setup the meeting wherever and whenever he’s most comfortable as long as it isn’t Underground. Place the ball in his court and see if he return it in kind.“

She walked closer to the trash can, waiting for him to find something to eat before shoving the folder with all the information into his hands. “They’ve got surveillance on your dad’s pack: names, addresses, video feeds, food orders. This goes back 5 months. And clearly it wasn’t classified since I was able to get it printed out by Piper. No one’s been sent out though. Or at least the flag hasn’t been raised.”
Jax hummed as he chewed on a rotten apple core, he took the folder but didn’t look at it. “I know,” he started, “Achilles and I plan on taking care of it with a small group under the radar. Nick, Ray and Jim were planning on heading out with us the week Conrad got injured. That seemed like enough for this to be placed on the back burner.”
“Ready to join your boyfriend and his half brother? Possibly piss off the higher ups once they find out?“

She shrugged. “I think I’m getting my own place here. I liked having one in London, and since I want to stay here, it seems like a good time. Pus Neaera has a real estate agent she can recommend.”
“I thought maybe in the future we could move in together.”
Jax tried not to skirm as he thought about coming home to an empty house or apartment. “Yeah. Right. We can look into that in the future.”
“Once I get my head wrapped around it. I wouldn’t mind a place of our own but with Achilles too, tho.“
In an Alley
Sam turned the corner she watched Jax slip down to shift back. Walking a few paces, she moved until she was in shadow before leaning against the wall. “Have you checked out anything with BOND recently?”
Jaxson stomach was rumbling and cramping when he changed back into his human form. He’s been following Churchill and Arthur back to back for over 3 days; maybe 4 or 6 but he wasn’t entirely sure what day it was. Quickly pulling on clothing he had stashed in the alley, he walked over to one of the trash cans and started picking for his next meal. “Hey baby,” Jax tossed over his shoulder when he felt her near. “You’re going to have to be more specific.”

I plan on finding a video but Jax is a hard one. So I am going to make this a two part prompt for Jaxson personally. I'll post a video of how he sounds but I am also posting this because there's a few things about how he pronounce things. Especially since Jaxson was raised in the South before joining the Chicago clan.
1. Instead of water (wah-ter) Jax say 'wooder'
2. Instead of butter (but-ter) Jax say 'but-ta'
3. Instead of 'ask' Jax say 'axe'
4. Instead of picture (pik-t-sher) Jax say 'pitcher'
5. Instead of iron (eye-urn) Jax say 'arhn'
6. Instead of 'soda or coke' Jax say 'pop'
7. Instead of Mayonnaise 'may-uh-naze' Jax say 'man-aze'
8. Jax pronounces the 'l' in salmon
9. Instead of syrup 'sear-up' Jax say 'sirr-up'
10. Marry/Merry/Mary all sound the same
11. Instead of 'shopping cart or cart' Jax say 'buggy'
12. Instead of 'you all or you guys' Jax say 'y'all'
13. Instead of 'want to' Jax say 'wanna'
14. When Jax say 'bet' he means he agrees instead of gambling.
For Example: He's shortening 'you bet you' or 'betcha'
15. Anything ending with 'ing' Jax drops the 'g'
For Example: Jax will say 'Fixin to' not 'Fixing to' or Jax will say 'Somethin' not 'Something'. Back to Fixing, Jax means 'going to' or getting prepared to do something not fixing something like a vehicle.

Sam inspected her nails, “Really? You’ve never wanted to?” She refrained from saying that Nick would never make that suggestion considering how long he lived with just Ray and the rest of his clan.
Jax shook his head no. This was his home. Especially now that he had both Achilles and Sam here. “Why do I have the feel that you’re not on the same page?”

Derek smiled a little and nodded. “I may wind up doing both. I should probably take more breaks.”
“Nah. Breaks are for people in NERVOUS or CTRL. We’re not that lazy.“

“Mary’s already been here.” He smiled at that before his face grew somber again. “The attack.” He gestured to his bandaged up body. “It was exactly how it was before, but they didn’t know I was there. I swear no one knew I was there. I got into this room and then it hit me. But no one else was in the room. I don’t know how but-” He began coughing again, and he took another drink to try and help his throat. “We have to figure it out.”
“Sucker,“ Jax muttered under his breath when he saw the look on Conrad’s face. “You should know better, man. An attack means someone is acting in aggression or violently towards you. If no one was there... Was it an preemptive attack or did you tunnel into a room filled with natural gas? Is that what we need to figure out?“

Achilles nodded as he spoke, his mind already far ahead of what Jax said, thinking about his former pack and their impending death. The words of the warlock who spoke to his mother weighed heavily in his mind. “You can’t stand Helo, are you sure he’ll cover for us?”
“Yeah, I can. I need to if I want any kind of closure.” He paused staring at his brother. “I don’t want the others to find out why I was kicked out of the pack. I have no idea where my…” He was going to say boyfriend, or Patrick, or something but none of those felt right. “The guy who ratted me out, I don’t know if he’ll be there. We’ll have to find him if he’s not, to make sure my secret dies.”
“Helo would do it for Jo. You know her story,“ Jax growled. He hated talking about what happened to Jo. There wasn’t a person in their pack that wouldn’t want to help bring down the assholes who changed the group of women that came with Jo. It was a plus that Helo’s older brother Radak had recently started dating one of the other survivors.
“Okay,“ Jax nodded. “I’ll have Sam and Henry look into their BOND missions. Maybe the day before disable their communications or send out false S.O.S to return home for those who are away. We need to take everyone out. Women and children included. We can’t leave anyone behind and we can’t take them with us.“ Jax said plainly, needing Achilles to have his back fully. Especially knowing people like Mary, Hanna and Helo probably won’t be able to handle killing those they believed where innocents. “I’ll kill the bastard myself unless you want him too?“

“Witches and warlocks obviously have a preference towards the vampires, but I don’t necessarily see the vampires walking into Anonymous. Obviously the human shifters are out despite being the peacekeepers, unless there’s more news on that front?” He looked at Jim and Jax, waiting for a response.
Jax looked over to Jim when Ray addressed them but noticed Jim wasn’t making a move to speak or acknowledge Ray had spoken. Trying not to let his irritation bleed through, Jaxson lifted his head and cleared his throat before speaking. “We’re seeing less hostility and a lot less accidents coming for the human shifters but we’re still clearing names and updating our database. So far they’re sticking to... to what was agreed upon. Personally I think they should be our absolute last resort.”

Derek looked over and gave his superior a smile before sighing. “Not really. Looking for a shifting face in a sea of faces that sometimes seem to shift themselves.”
Jaxson chuckled and shook his head, knowing exactly what Derek meant. “Feel free to doze off and ignore me or grab something to eat before heading out again.”
