Since the Lush Kitchen will be making Ghost shower gel this Friday, i thought i’d share my Ghost family of products that Lush made with the same Fragrance. That way incase you’ve tried one of the other products you’ll know what the shower gel smellslike. Before Ghost the fragrance was called ‘Lily Savon’. It’s a strong floral that is NOT sweet. It has jasmine, ylang ylang, orchid, neroli, lily. The closest thing i can compare it to is the Christmas Eve bubble bar. But Ghost is more floral even. #lushghost #lushghostshowergel #lushghostscentfamily #lushkitchenfridayoct30 #shower #showergel #lushvideo #lushdemo #lushie #ylangylang #jasmine
And the final part of my violet bath! Dont Rain On My Parade! This is one of the new shower gels from oxford street! I didnt like the scent at first but im starting to warm up to it! It lathers really well, and the smell lingers on your skin! Im obsessed with this colour too! Its so bright, and not what you would expect a violet smelling shower gel to look like! P.s it has a cute poem on the label!
Price: £ 4.75

LUSHIOUS REVIEWS: IT STARTED WITH A KISS LIP TINT
It was only a matter of time until my lush journey brought me to the cosmetics section. I am in love with red lipstick. In my make up bag I have almost a total of 10 different shades of red so it was only natural for me to pick up a red lip tint. Red itself holds so much emotional background to it from love to rage to varying degrees of passion and the best way to put all those emotions into a scent can only be done with Lush’s It Started With A Kiss.
When you think of love you think chocolate. White chocolate is incorporated into this lip tint along with fair trade vanilla extract to give us light tones of sweetness. To give us passion, cinnamon has been infused into this as well for that kick of spice to offset the sweet. And because the color is more of a playful red that almost gears towards pink, red apple infusion and sweet orange oil brightens up and freshens the scent pallet.
Now keep in mind this is a lip tint not a stain, and because it’s not made like a lipstick the color will rub off on to any surfaces that come in contact with your lips. With a sensation that reminds you of a lip gloss with all the hydrating benefits of a lip balm I’m not entirely sure what category this product would fall under. You can definitely feel the shea butter and coconut oil at work making your lips soft and smooth. I took this product a step further and used it as a blush stain. By applying a little bit on your cheeks, spread it around using the heel of your palm and you can get the same blush effects as a traditional powder but with that amazing scent added to your make up and overall look.
No really trust me when I say the scent is absolutely amazing. Often I find myself doing a duck face just to inhale that scent after every application. And let me tell you this stuff lasts a long time because you don’t need a lot to get effects and colour you’re looking for. One tin can easily last you nearly 2 years if you use it almost every day so asking $9.95 for a tiny tin of lip tint is not asking a lot considering what the average price of lipsticks are.

None Of Your Beeswax.
As its name implies, None Of Your Beeswax does not contain any beeswax making this a vegan product! Instead, Lush has made this lip balm with carnauba wax. None Of Your Beeswax has a delicious lemon-vanilla scent that reminds me of lemon icing! Meanwhile, extra virgin olive oil and murumuru butter add hydration to chapped lips. This lip balm is also preservative-free since it doesn’t contain any water!

GUESS WHAT GUYS
Yesterday when we took our trip to Lush, my mom picked out some bar soaps to try. I've never liked bar soaps, because we're on a well so we have hard water. Bar soaps are very alkaline with a ph of 9-10, and the way that the minerals in hard water react with the soap leaves a scummy residue on the skin. So when my mom said she was getting bar soaps, I asked "how do you deal with the residue on your skin, I can't stand that feeling." ...She had no idea what I was talking about. I asked her how she applied soap to her skin. SHE RUBS THE SOAP ON HER LOOFA. This way the soap isn't coming i contact with the skin, only the suds. That's absolutely genius and I can't believe I never thought of that. I just got out of the shower and used Honey I Washed the Kids, and guess what. NO RESIDUE!! I CAN USE BAR SOAPS NOW!!!!
Look at the little cutie that came into the shop!
