I’m just imagining the chapter in fruits basket where Kyo runs after Tohru when she gets out of the hospital and he finally accepts his love for her and how it’s going to look animated like I’ve dreamt since I was an 11 year old being bullied in middle school for liking anime and I can’t cope
fruits basket is so precious to me and it's been such a staple for me in my life, just knowing i'm living through a time where it's going to be fleshed out in all its glory makes me so happy. it's shaped me as a person, and a lot of the ideals i cling to-to this day- all originate in some way/shape/form from Furuba. to say it's simply something i enjoy is a severe understatement. Fruits Basket has provided me a sense of security in that it's the only thing that's truly remained a constant in my ever changing life. its provided me with something to lean on, something i can escape to or simply something i can devote myself into appreciating time and time again. i still remember the very first time i had ever seen the show. it was in the summer. and to this day, i still find myself full of simultaneous nostalgia of a time between then and now, and i have nothing but the purest fondness in my heart. i know i'm not the only one to be so affected by Furuba and all of Takaya's writings and that, too, brings me so many warm feelings. this is a time i think a lot of us will remember. a time where we can forget our stresses and tune in and reminisce on times long gone. we can progress into the world Natsuki Takaya provided for us and feel the same way we all did when we first discovered this beautiful gem. we can all be safe, and happy, and warm. we can all be together. itsumo.

This makes me so happy but I also choke up when I see it (mainly because I’m a weenie) and it’s just so cute because the way I interpret it, it’s the three of them looking off into the future and the good things ahead of them. It also somehow captures their personalities.
But in reality it’s just the three of them sitting and Tohru being really happy.
