I keep thinking about Ryan Guzman’s comment about a telenovela-esque episode where buddie gets together.

If the episode started with a call on the set of a telenovela being filmed, Eddie could be fangirling over a lead actor, reestablishing him being a fan of the genre to the GA while also hinting at his sexuality. This would parallel Maddie and Chim in the episode with the emergency at the Bachelor Mansion. The episode that coincidentally also happens to be Buck’s bi awakening.

If the episode opened with a scene out of context of the telenovela episode being filmed (before 9-1-1 inevitably needs to be called) the plot of the episode could then reflect what is happening in that scene and its characters and also borrow some stylistic choices for how the episode is shot and directed.

#thinking about how back in season 8 he was pouting over chris not being into halloween anymore and just outgrowing a lot of these things they used to have so much fun doing, that he now gets to do them again with theo because we know he'll be just as involved as buck in the raising of this kid. plus, i like thinking it could be a way for chris to regain interest in those things too, so they can do them as a family

I can perfectly imagine Buck answering someone who asks about his family and he would make it so complicated, like: yeah, so this one is my biological son, but I'm not actually his dad, and i adopted him too. this one is my son but not biologically or legally, but he's still mine yeah. oh and this is my best friend/situationship/boyfriend, yeah the last one is his son and the first one is mine but they're really just our sons. oh no, we're not married, he's actually straight (and a renter), but we're just cosmically intertwined and codependent like that.

the thing is. theo is old enough to remember his parents. and he's already calling buck, buck. even if at some point he's old enough to understand that he can have two dads and decides to start calling buck dad as well that's always going to be his buck first. buck's name being synonymous to a parental moniker for both of his kids. christopher and theo and their buck.
