(( Hey all! Long time no see.

So a little thought has been running through my head seeing as my summer plans didn’t turn out like I had hoped. I may be coming back to the community, but it is highly unlikely that I will reopen any of my old accounts.

However I have been running through the idea of making a new OC and I’ve also been thinking about picking up a canon character. No promises yet though on what might happen, but if there are any developments I’ll let you all know.))

Miraak occasionally found himself back at many of the elemental stones that were scattered around the island of Solstheim for little to no apparent reason at all. Now mainly residing in Skyrim, he barely had the time to spend at the island, but did pay a visit to the place every once in a while. It was difficult for him to drag himself back here, for reasons he could not explain, but the phenomenon still occurring at the stones was still rather interesting.

He could almost still feel the power radiating from them, although the Dragonborn had long since released his power that he had placed on these certain stones. Over the course of his attempt to reclaim Tamriel, he had not expected the Dragonborn to ever possess the capability of besting him as an opponent. Due to his self-absorbed nature, and his belief that he was well above all, he fancied himself the strongest mortal to have ever lived at that point.

Of course, like many times before, he had been proven wrong.

Miraak’s mind momentarily flickered to the idea of visiting his old temple, where he had awoken a while ago just as he had found himself before he had entered Apocrypha. He soon pushed it away, realizing it was an awful idea.

He turned to leave the stone, a few verses of his mantra that he had forced upon the inhabitants of the island to recite stuck in his mind, when he saw a small movement in the corner of his eye. Out of paranoia and bad habits, he froze and conjured lightning bolts in his hands.

Of all the people to deal with, it had to be a damned mage. By Mephala's tits, this was quite the damper on a curious outing. Kiera braced herself against the stone structure bracing her self by preparing her tanto. Hopefully if he turned a corner she could get a jump on him, if of course he proved to be a threat. Being a stranger with a mask though, made it very hard to trust him.

She took in a deep breath steadying her hand to make sure that if she had to attack she would finish it quickly and painlessly.

Ethis nodded stepping forward and giving the Argonian the septims and taking the crate of wine. 

“thank you for your business,” he replied graciously bowing his head before turning to Aquila, “Are you ready to set off now?”

“Yes. Wh-where would you like to go? B-b-by the lake? Or somewhere in the woods maybe?” She started out the tavern, holding the door for him.

Ethis shrugged, "Perhaps the lake. It seems to be a far more appropriate place for a picnic," he replied.

Keeping Tally [Ethis, Kii-Nam]

Kii-Nam didn’t even see the Nord until Ethis went and engaged the human head on. He didn’t bother watching the show as he sent another torrent of firebolts into the bandits before them. He wasn’t exactly keen on letting them get away. 

The sheer volume of the amount of shots he put out didn’t exactly allow room for escaping. One bandit was struck in the hand followed by his legs and then the face, suffering from the shock of being hit multiple time times. His other two partners were killed in similar fashions before dying of shock and their burns. Their bodies on fire for a few short moments before the flames died completely. Even the blue firebolts that Kii had hurled died the moment they hit something, it was the Argonian’s way from not starting a large forest fire. 

When the engagement against their enemies was done and over with he took a breath and looked over at Ethis. “You alright?” he asked him with a slight smile, not of arrogance but rather of calm assurance.

With the threat neutralized, the Dunmer sheathed his blades and rubbed a stray splatter of blood from his cheek, before crossing his arms, "You needn't worry about me, sera. I'm quiet alright." he replied, "How are you doing?"
