babe! hi! hello! this has been sitting here for awhile now and i had so many ideas for this but ended up going with none of those ideas and wrote this instead! i also finished this a few weeks ago and just … forgot to post it? whoops? anyway here it is!

“I’m going to get ice cream do you two want anything?” Nicky was standing by the front door, one hand on the handle head turned to look at Aaron and Andrew.

“What? Nicky it’s two in the morning!” Aaron looked at his cousin in confusion.

“I’m aware Aaron thank you, do you want anything or not?”

“You don’t have a car.” Andrew spoke up from his beanbag.

Nicky held up his hand, keys dangling from one finger, “I grabbed Kevin’s car keys.”

“You stole Kevin’s keys?” Aaron had never known Nicky to do something like this before, he was a little shocked.

“Temporarily misappropriated. Now, ice cream yay or nay?”

Aaron looked over to Andrew who was just looking at Nicky a contemplating look on his face. Nicky was tapping his fingers on the door handle, Aaron sighed and put down the book he was supposed to be reading but hadn’t been paying attention to, it wasn’t like they had their final exams coming up, or graduation.

“Alright I’ll come.” Aaron stood up, Nicky had this look in his face like he wasn’t sure Aaron was serious.

Aaron put his shows on and grabbed his jacket, and heard some shuffling behind him, he turned his head a little to see Andrew coming up behind him. He didn’t grab a jacket but grabbed shoes. Aaron rolled his eyes. Nicky looked a little shocked that they were both coming with him, but didn’t say anything, just nodded his head, and walked out. Andrew walked past Aaron without a word and caught up with Nicky. Aaron looked around the room before he left, Josten’s eyes were open but he didn’t move just nodded at Aaron.

Underlined belongs to Penguin Random House. This is an extremely dirty trick for them to play on writers, especially young writers and children, who come to the internet to get feedback and will lose the rights to their work. Please boost!!!

The way Andrew’s gaze flickered down to Neil’s mouth and then back up to his eyes probably should have tipped him off about what was happening…

…When Neil had kissed girls before this, he had wondered when the kiss would end. With Andrew, he couldn’t make himself care if it ever did.
