Anyway v short explanation to this is through the magic of blackmail Ace takes Sabo's place and is sent to train to work in a brothel,

But he starts once he hits 15 since there was a client interested in him
Never said this was going to be wholesome but eventually climbs through into becoming a very important courtesan by 18 one that flourishes through entertaining with being a fire dancer other stuff
He doesn't escape yet, since he did this for his brothers safety so until Luffy sets sail he wouldn't leave yet

Does visit Ace again at some point though sometimes it's just for talking since he tells Ace all about the pirate life, and sometimes bumps into Ace whenever he's summoned out by clients outside of the brothel wanting his service
Falls in love eventually probably but alas things are not meant to be when just a year before it would be the year Luffy would set sail Ace is bought by someone
