It used to be a bleeding hurtful performance when they were younger, and yep, JW was more sorrowful/angsty and he sang as if he cried his life out. Now, when he becomes a most sincere, tranquil adult on earth, and with a little bit adding of dreamy sounds into the back layers, it turned into a beautiful slow jam, still sad to the bone, but much more comfort for my heart to bear.
;) Thanks to devoted fans who brought back fancams from the concerts (and my great papparazzi skill in finding them to hehe), it is revealed that the super awesome metal-driven live edit of this song, which is the studio album extended version, was actually performed at Nell's room in Busan on 121231. From cams, it is easy to spot the difference in the stage setting between the two concerts. So when I first saw Woollim claimed the live edit was taken from the Seoul concert, I felt so... funny. Nothing bad here, just ... amusing maybe? :P
Whatever, both versions, both concert are amazing, and sure I will spend my 2013 yearning for DVD - or better Bluray - release of them (DVD will just be 480p max, but Bluray will be in HD 720p or 1080p, which is surely muchhhh better)
