I've been thinking for a long time about AU where Lando chooses golf instead of karting and becomes a full-time professional athlete while Oscar goes into GT (uhh that video where he nearly drifts on a black Mustang literally did something to me as a Ford fan..)
There is also a connection with a video in which Mark Webber talks about the difference between an Australian kiss and a French one iykyk :)
So in this AU they're not very public, but definitely happy together! Oscar tries to appear incognito at all of Lando's tournaments as often as possible, even though he almost always does it in the same set of polos, shorts and sunglasses, which of course is not very secretive and everyone knows that he's here for his sparkling boyfriend (although from some point he's already his husband, but who knows)
