🚆 A Train Journey Through Bangladesh | 180 KM for Less Than $0.50
There’s something quietly powerful about train journeys—the way they slow down time and let the world pass by like a moving painting.
Today, I traveled aboard the Sagarika Express, crossing approximately 180 kilometers through the heart of Bangladesh. The journey began at Chandpur Railway Station, tracing riverside landscapes along the mighty Meghna, and moving toward Feni and Chattogram.
What makes this trip unforgettable isn’t just the route—it’s the experience itself.
For just about 35 Bangladeshi Taka (less than half a dollar), I witnessed endless green fields, small rural stations, rivers reflecting the sky, and the everyday rhythm of life unfolding beside the tracks.
This isn’t luxury travel. This is something more real. More grounded. More human.
