So, Connor loses bits and pieces of his memories after getting killed or destroyed on accident. Being aware of it, Hank, angry and tired of the stupid robot playing with his feelings, bullshits Connor into believing he did something embarrassing and stupid that he "so conveniently forgot" and that he also lost a bet and now owes Hank money or/and free drinks. Doubles down on it, in fact, pressing on the fact that there are events Connor legitimately doesn't remember. Then observes as his forehead wrinkles into a bothered frown, hands reaching for his wallet to fork out, still apprehensive. Trying to resist the urge to call Connor sucker when he, convinced or not, indeed buys him drinks and then sits quietly with an expression of concern processing what Hank "revealed" to him about his past mistakes. Hank considers it his moral compensation.
