Five Nights at Freddy's au
Harland Springer (slashpaws):
22 during Security Breach. Employee at the Mega Pizzaplex. "Adopted child" of Scraptrap.
Harland was a runaway teenager (16) searching for shelter during a thunderstorm when they found their way into Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place (the FFPS location). Here they met the scrapped animatronics that they quickly grew close with and ended up living with them in the pizzeria for upwards of a month, despite disapproval from Michael (at first) and Henry (persistently).
Scraptrap ended up essentially adopting them after a while, becoming very protective over them when Henry tried to get them to leave. Scrap Baby, Molten Freddy, Lefty, and Michael all became very close to them as well, and Harland considered them a family after their own had been less than kind to them before.
After an accident involving Molten Freddy, Scraptrap transferred remnant to them to keep them alive, making them functionally immortal in the process.
After barely escaping the FFPS fire, they lived in an apartment near the burned down location, dealing with the trauma from losing everyone they cared about so suddenly. After a few years passed and the new Pizzaplex opened up, they decided to apply, curious about how exactly the company was still around after such a seemingly irreparable blow.
Now an employee of the new Pizzaplex, they do many jobs around the building, but can usually be found in the daycare or the west arcade, taking up a daytime "security" role of sorts, while also attending to any menial tasks they're asked of as well (restocking arcades with tickets, manning the food court, escorting animatronics to and from maintenance, etc).
When the Pizzaplex tried to fire all of the human employees to replace them with robot staff, Harland threatened them with their knowledge of past incidents within the franchise including intimate details of things the company never made public (such as the death of several children and William Afton's involvement in said incidents), and continues to hold this blackmail over the company's head in order to keep their position, convincing Fazent that they couldn't afford to fire them because they knew too much.
During the events of Security Breach, they subtly help Gregory along and often help distract the animatronics for precious moments that allow the boy to escape.
Miles Sterling (systemerrorbonnie):
18 during Security Breach. Technician at the Mega Pizzaplex. Child of Sammy Sterling (previously Sammy Emily), grandchild of Henry Emily.
Miles grew up around technology and animatronics due to their grandfather being a previous co-owner of Fazbear Entertainment and creator of several of the animatronics of said franchise. They developed quite the knack for building and fixing these sorts of things at a young age, and were encouraged to go into the field by Henry as well. Henry also helped spark their interest in the paranormal, making them wonder about the mysteries of such things much more than the average person.
They also grew up hearing about the death of Charlotte, who would have been their aunt, and as they got older, decided they wanted to find out what had actually happened, and who was responsible.
Both of these things contributed to them becoming a technician at the Mega Pizzaplex, being one of the three remaining humans on staff after Fazbear Entertainment purged the rest in favour of robot staffing. They started out with a customer service role before their skills contributed to Fazent promoting them.
They are constantly making theories about Fazent's past and how the company has managed to stay in business for so long, always searching for answers to mysteries no one else has bothered to get into. Well, seemingly no one… They keep all these theories in a journal that they carry with them, in case something else comes up that needs noted.
During the events of Security Breach, they subtly help Gregory along the way, as well as repair the animatronics after they've been shattered, to ensure everyone can escape.

Harland and Miles are best friends, and are also both good friends with all of the animatronics at the Mega Pizzaplex and get along well with everyone, except Vanessa.
