expectevilâ:
â â âWay ahead of you.â Wendy was no stranger to the fact Kai had years on her and her little Salvatore gang in prison world shenanigans. It certainly shifted the dynamic, though, with their involvement. Changed the game, as one might say. âDying is lackluster, yes â but Hell at least left an impression.âÂ
âAre you really?â The story about the destruction of hell was practically Salvatore 101, so hearing him talk about it served as fuel for another jab toward the heretic that had abandoned them. âRight, I forgot you were that old for a minute because you werenât talking about Dr. Mario and Baywatch.â
ronniewxlfâ:
She nodded with a small smile. âI am. Itâs good to see you again.â Ronnie was never good at making friends, but having a few consistent people in her life couldnât be the worst thing.
Even the slightest hint of a smile made her own grow, and she decided to bask in the warmth of it. âItâs not everyday I get to see the prettiest bartender in all of New Orleans.â
neuroticiismsâ:
going through all the files that ric had, caroline discovered some truly awful things he had done to the students. had she known what he was up to she never would have allowed it, or would have come back sooner to make sure that he stopped immediately and fixed the wrongs. one of those wrongs is what he did to wendy and the blonde felt immediate guilt when the student sat, she wished she had been there. âhi wendy, itâs good to see you.â she began and offered a small smile. âare you liking new orleans?â better to start off light hearted, she supposed.Â
.
âitâs good to see you too.â while wendy didnât have fond feelings about alaric or the salvatore school, she didnât share the same ill will with her former headmistress. she didnât have anything to do with the prison world, and unlike the twins, she wouldnât allow her anger to blind her to that. âiâm from here, actually. after getting out of the supernatural penalty box, i got to come home just in time to see everyone i ever loved died while i was gone. and then you guys all showed up. so, itâs been a time. how are you though? the kids? your insufferable coparent headmaster wannabe?â
caroline was sitting out at one of the outdoor restaurants, she was enjoying a little time to herself which was not something she had much of since coming to new orleans. the blonde just finished up a plate of crawfish etouffee and was now working on her wine. she heard someone talking to her, blue hues look up to the other and she shook her head. âno, go ahead. thereâs no one joining me so the seat is open.âÂ
one thing wendy ignacio had missed desperately during her time in mystic falls was the food from back home, and now that she was back in new orleans, she was making up for lost time the best she could. grabbing take out from a spot sheâd been to a dozen times before, she was wishing the waitress a good day when she heard a familiar voice, saw her opportunity, and took it. taking the seat across from the vampire and setting her back on the table, she wondered for a moment if the blonde would remember her, or if sheâd had any idea what alaric had done to herself, jade, and diego. plenty of questions, too few answers, and in the end, she smiles and offers âlong time no see, headmaster.â
â â âIf you ask me, and you shouldâ deathâs lost its edge.â Without the looming threat of eternal immolation, suffice to say it had changed the game some. âAnd from what Iâve gathered, its grip, too.âÂ
If there was an opinion that she could care less about than one held by Kai Parker, it was Alaric Saltzman, but not by much. After the heretic had abandoned them to a crumbling prison world, well, she was a little less than sympathetic. âYou would know, even the devil himself didnât want you.â the witch remarks spitefully. âAnd, itâs hard to think deathâs only now lost itâs edge after youâve died a hundred times before.â Long before sheâd escaped the prison world, death no longer became something she feared, and that hadnât changed just because she had escaped and her eternal reset button had been removed from the equation.
ronniewxlf
âItâs an easy order to remember.â She brushed it off, ordering a drink for the other. âWendy, right?â
.
Despite the dismissal of her compliment, thereâs a slight flutter in her chest at the fact that she remembered her name. Even as she silently judged herself, she admitted âThe one and only. And youâre Ronnie, right?âÂ
Ronnie was sitting at the bar when a familiar face sat down next to her. They had met at the Halloween party. âTequila, right?â
@pyromaniacwitch
âQuite the memory...â the witch teased with a gentle nod. âYes, maâam.â
Do you want revenge on Alaric?
âMore than Iâve wanted anything in my entire life. I lost time with my family... and they are gone now... Iâll never get that back... weepy widow vampire slayer turned failure of a school headmaster needs to pay. Besides, who ever thought a human headmaster was a good idea?â
How are you planning on getting revenge?
âEver heard of an eye for an eye? Last time I checked, there were several geminis in the area, at least one with a vendetta like mine... I think all we need is an ascendant and some Bennett blood and weâd be in business. And wouldnât you know, the supply just moved close and local. We take care of business, destroy the ascendant, and Iâd say we were even.â
â @pyromaniacwitchâ
Kai looked up from the grimoire âYou look familiarâ A slow smile worked its way across his face and into his eyes âWe have met, havenât we? I canât remember your name. Ah by the way, if you noticed thatââ He paused, pointed to the body on the ground âIgnore it, Iâm too lazy to cover it up. The human is still alive, but do not think about trying to save him, itâs my dinnerâ
âWe only spent a decade together, why would you remember my name?â Wendy asked sarcastically, rolling her eyes as she looked curiously at the grimoire in front of him before glancing in the direction he was pointing at. Looking over at the body, she only focuses for a moment before reminding him âIâm not the Wonder Twins, just make sure you clean up your mess when your done. Last thing we need is another murder investigation, bad for tourism, bad for your juice box selection.â
antiripperâ:
đ¨ â âYou were in a prison world? Cool.â Getting that away, MG had what he deemed more important to share: âI think you mean pterodactyl.âÂ
âYeah, so cool being hunted for sport every day for all of eternity while Diego bitched about the full moon and Jade hooked up with a guy we found locked up in a karaoke bar.â Totally cool. Well, the supernatural hunger games wasnât always terrible, just most of the time. âAnd I definitely meant velociraptor, but I wouldnât be mad to see a pterodactyl.âÂ
xwitchjo¡:
âWendy?â Josie had to take a second before responding. âMy dad had nothing to do with it.â
âThe one and only.â At least right here anyway. âOkay... sure, totally buy that. So, if it wasnât your fatherâs fault, why did everyone move to New Orleans?â
@antiripperâ continued from hereÂ
đ¨ â âI bought this one. Iâve always planned on making my own cosplays, but itâs been hard to find the time. Maybe next year.â He instantly recognized who she was dressed as, and when she introduced herself, his grin grew wide. âTight. You can call me MG when Iâm not saving the day.â
âTime flies when youâre having fun. If that costume shows your dedication, youâll have the best outfit around.â While skill accounted for a portion of it, dedication and taste made up an even larger part of it. Where there was a will there was a way. He introduces himself, so she decides to play along in the spirit of the holiday. âWhen Dr. Drakken isnât blowing it, you can call me Wendy.â
@ronniewxlfâ continued from here
âIâve only been here a few months now and I donât think New Orleans sleeps either.â Ronnie said with a smile. âWhatâs your poison?â Ronnie asked turning to the bar.
âTrue, the city really comes alive at night...â Between the supernatural population and the human residents, there was always something going on somewhere. âHave any tequila back there?â
@crazylocksâ continued from here
đž â âThe same could be said for any party, if youâre damaged enough.â It wasnât a testament to any particular person; just a general observation. âI wouldnât know. I hardly know the girl,â she said, a joke for no oneâs amusement but their own. Besides, it wasnât far from the truth. âSounds like I have a punchbowl salesman to investigate.â
âFair enough.â They werenât wrong, and if life had taught her anything, the majority of the people in attendance at the event were certainly damaged in one way or another at some point along the line. âI donât know her well, knew her when she was little. Her dadâs a complete and utter piece of shit on a power trip though.â She wouldnât insult the blonde Saltztwin any further until she had more to go off of. âSounds like you do. Youâll let me know if you find anything worthwhile, right?â
@benoitwitchâ continued from here
âEternal torment? Sounds dark.â Andrew replied, and he understood his fair share of dark. âBut yeah.. I remember all that. I was about eight years old and my father brought me to the funeral.â So she really was Wendy. Wasnât that something⌠âYeah, yeah I am. Depending on where you fall, thatâs a pretty cool thing or a really bad one. Witches around here have a lot of.. letâs say varying opinions on that name.â Especially because of his father and his rather controversial regency.
.
âJust a little, but I donât think you could grow up in the Quarter after the Mikaelsonâs came back to town without your life getting a little dark.â Of course, most of the bloodshed and discourse didnât haunt them outside of the borders of the city, and most of them didnât find their way into a pocket hell dimension, but there was no one size fit all. The witch nods as he mentions the funeral, silent as her mind wonders what her family thought, if they blamed themselves the way she now blamed herself. âI try not to judge on the family name... there is good and bad every family, even if the older witches like to have firm opinions.â
