Very Special Life Update
Varda here! I don't usually put life updates on this blog, but it's a special case :
Earlier this year, I discovered Festival Dantesco after they liked my Divine Comedy of Errors doodles on IG and I asked if I could participate in their virtual quarantine edition this year (usually participants must be enrolled in an Italian school).
They very graciously let me in, and last week I submitted a video of myself performing a passage from Purgatorio set to music. Since I told them I'm memorizing the entire Comedy, they asked if I could submit a video of Inferno Canto I,accompanied by my drawings. I'm absolutely thrilled that a Dante festival is asking if I would like to nerd out EVEN MORE on a topic that is near to my heart and wanted to share the good news with you guys!
Also low-key hoping this helps me in my endeavor to get into college with a full scholarship.
