uh, so I can make a formal post later but I am kinda getting desperate: I am down to my last $50 until the next two weeks is up (paid the 27th), which will NOT be enough for me to get by.

I’m kind of getting desperate at this point. I have less than $20 in my checking, -$10 in my savings and no absolute certainty on any paychecks coming in, let alone start date for my other job.

I have 10 days to pay an extension on my car for $90.12, and then $210 by May 1st. I absolutely have no way to pay this, or honestly any knowledge of when I can.

Furthermore, I also to worry about gas for my car to chauffeur myself and my roommate to work and places we need, groceries, and my medications to even stay fucking stable.

Update 5/20/19

I have officially lost my insurance after learning, after the fact by the office manager, despite numerous attempts to get these exact answers: it was non negotiable for me to continue coverage. This puts me in a position where I can no longer afford my psychiatric meds or birth control.

Additionally, despite working TWO jobs to make ends meet, I am LUCKY if I can wrestle 20 hours a week overall from BOTH jobs.

This is putting me in extreme financial stress that I have not been able to resolve since I faced homelessness in late December.

I am BEGGING, PLEASE LEND ME A HAND IF POSSIBLE. I AM AS TRANSPARENT WITH ALL OF MY EFFORTS AS I CAN BE.

I HAVE LOST TRACK OF THE JOBS I APPLIED TO AND INTERVIEWS. I CANT KEEP LIVING LIKE THIS.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO HELP?

“The costs range as every case is unique. Sometimes the individual has the resources to help themselves and they just need information and support from us to make a move.  In these cases, the cost to Rainbow Railroad is staff and volunteer time to research and provide information.  In cases where they need financial support to get to safety, it costs about $5000 to cover flights and other related costs.”
