right?!?! minhyun really wants to debut with jaehwan, he’s been promoting him since day 1. they really match well as main vocal (jaehwan) and lead vocal (minhyun). ashfsjklfds minhyun even transferred sewoon to the other team for the finale performance just so he can be sub vocal 1 right after jaehwan. to bad he got pushed down too hahaha
also the lipstick application game will now be one of jaehwan’s most iconic moments. he was laughing so hard, he was practically shrieking and scared off everyone
jonghyun: ok i want mnet to give all trainees an equal amount of screen time and for the national producers to appreciate everyone's talents, personalities and visuals and put an end to all the unnecessary fighting and hate

i have some bad news for you, it’s a hundred percent guarantee that your heart will break
but there’s also a fulfillment there especially when you see the bond between the trainees, how hard they work, and all the talent. i can’t advise you to try not get attached because you will. so yeah you have been warned. if you watch it you’re in it both for the laughs and the tears (and the fits of rage towards mnet)

yes, i have!! he was such a small child back then and everyone was babying him :’))). i love samuel, the main reason i watched broduce in the first place is because of samuel, nu’est and daehwi. i really hope his ranks rise again and he gets to debut in the top 11. i mean, this kid has been training since he was 10/11 ! that’s 5 years !! we all know he’s capable of so much

oh my god since you asked for it i hope you’re prepared for me rambling
(maybe i should put it under the cut in case it becomes too long and starts clogging up people’s dashboards)
okay so firstly i’m SO proud of all of them, they all worked so hard and everyone gave such amazing stages there wasn’t a stage i wasn’t satisfied with. they all managed to pull off their respective concepts really well. i guess the rankings were all up to who gave the most impressionable stage and for the on site voters that was 열어줘. personally, based off the actual live performances alone, my rankings (if i had to rank them) are 1st - Never (i swear to god i’m not being biased but they really were the best stage) ; 2nd -Showtime (this was such a good stage! the energy was great and consistently high all throughout. it was the most fun stage how was it 4th?); and 3rd is 열어줘, I Know You Know, and Oh Little Girl (because their performances although very different from each other were all on the same level). but yeah, in terms of styling, stage design and overall concept,열어줘 had the most impact. this isn’t anything against the rest of the 열어줘 members because they all performed really well, but i kinda felt like daniel and dongho hard carried the performance in terms of fitting with the concept. but nonetheless i’m happy for their team because they get to perform on m countdown and they also get benefits and god knows kenta and yongguk need those (pls pls save them they’re talented but mnet barely gave them screen time, yongguk was the center for fuck’s sake!! what kind of center doesn’t get screen time??? i’m mad). i’m not blaming anyone (or am i?)but i feel like never didn’t win mostly due to fact that their styling and stage design didn’t fit the song much (even though their performance was A-mazing) and as a visual communication major i can tell you how important those are to affecting an audience.
trainees getting 2 votes… listen kim yEHYUN’S PARENTS DIDN’T GIVE OUT FREE SNACKS AND DRINKS TO THE FANS WHO WAITED IN LINE JUST FOR THEM TO GIVE HIM 2 VOTES LIKE?? i understand if he isn’t that popular but only getting two votes??? isn’t that too much?? also woodam?? the high note god only getting 2 votes??? taehyun only got 6 votes ?!?!? in this economy !?!??! mnet’s partly to blame as well since their voting system is crap. only the one’s who watch until the end can vote which means minors who can’t be out too late had to leave early so they already can’t vote. there were supposed to be 2000 voters but there were only like 1600 + votes total. plus they also kicked out a bunch of fans and fansites :///. I Know You Know is actually my favorite song style wise because i really enjoy pop songs that incorporate a lot of funk in them. so when the teasers for the concept eval songs i knew i’d love the song which is why i’m sad that they were last and only got 83 votes :(((
i already ranted about what happened to minhyun and it’s literally all i’ve been fuming about since the episode ended bUT WTF MNET?? like i don’t know their reason for airing it maybe because they wanted to emphasize on the debut cut line (like they always did since season 1), maybe they want minhyun to rise, maybe they want minhyun to drop or maybe they’re just plain dumb. but showing just one trainee’s ranking doesn’t help that trainee out at all. it’s either show all of their rankings or show none at all. if minhyun continues to drop because of this i swear to god i’m gonna start swinging. my brain was pretty much conditioned that minhyun would debut since he’s been so consistent and just asfnjjkadk. also there are rumors that mnet might change the rules like international and text votes are allowed for the final 11???? i know when this started everyone was disappointed that international votes don’t count but after everything i was actually glad that international votes didn’t count but know mnet’s changing the rules again?? it’s gonna be a mess. also this is so unfair for the eliminated trainees, if they were going to allow international votes then they should’ve done it from the start or not do it at all.
anyways on a good note, my favorite scenes from the episode!!
- oh little girl team pranking jihoon and sewoon for their birthdays. i swear to god my heart literally flew out of my chest when they showed the preview because i was like no way are jihoon and minki fighting they’re one of the two nicest people on this show. but i kinda figured out they were doing something because it did seem unlike of them to be like that. anyways they were so cute
- ong being the slate guy. he’s such a dork i luv him
- never team practice in general, they all worked together really well. them taping their tablet to the mirror so they could record their practice. pwoojin being super talkative !! pwoojin messing around with jonghyun, jaehwan and minhyun !! guanlin being super excited and showing them around cube !!! jaehwan rapping and impress everyone including hyuna !!
- guanlin and seonho dancing to trouble maker (they were doing it so seriously how cute)
- dongho being such a dad again and helping haknyeon with his vocals (vocal trainers watch out, dongho’s about to give you a run for your money)
- minhyun tuning out the rest of his surroundings while practicing that he didn’t even notice triple h asjddskla;g
- the trainees fanboying over triple h, especially hyuna (aka me)
- the dance trainer kneeling down with a hand on his chest after never’s stage (aka also me)
