Bill Cipher's Lore-Accurate Anatomy Discussion Part 1- "The Labyrinth Game"

For Context: This was a discussion on Discord with a friend of mine, who wanted more details on how...well, Bill and Ford's foreplay goes when he's Giant Horizontal Bill. (There's another version when he's classic Bill and Giant Vertical Bill, but that's another thing for another time)

So!

Due to his size, the gaps of his bricks can turn into a very complicated game of Labyrinth. And yes, he can feel all of Ford's feet running around. ANYWAYS, since Bill is a VERY impatient little triangle, maybe he can be merciful! Maybe he can you know....bend the rules a little bit. How desperate is Princess Bill will change the whole game!

I'm so excited to share this drawing!! Originally, I had drawn this doodle last year, and I've always wanted to come back to it, make it into something better. And so, THIS IMAGE was born in my mind. This is a visual I've had stuck in my head for MONTHS and I'm so glad I finally got it out of there. 😭

It wasn't easy. I knew I wanted to make this a digital drawing, because I felt like the medium would lend nicely to an airy, soft vibe, as opposed to the pencil texture that's usually in my work. But I'm NOT used to digital art, especially when making full illustrations where you're aiming for perfection. I'm pretty sure this is the longest amount of time I've ever spent on a digital drawing, and "trusting the process" was hard because it's not a process I'm used to. But a week and 172 layers later, I'm happy with it! It turned out SO gaudy, SO gratuitous in it's mushy colorful-ness. Rainbows and sparkles and shit everywhere. Truly the gayest karaoke night ever.

(People on the patreon discord liked the updates I shared, and the possibility of doing a companion piece came up - Bills pov. So that's a potential goodie on the horizon!)

This is the "I might've taken the crack slightly too seriously and now it's a full on crack AU" post heheheheh

The short of it, for my brain to fit this into some kind of lore accuracy; Set in the time before the Fall of Euclydia (which will and has to happen, almost has even happened were it not for Bill's specks of sanity remaining), Caine is a fallen godling from what is basically Euclydias Heaven/Pantheon of Circle Gods (TBD what it actually is).

Circles having no sides but also an infinite amount of sides, are beyond the "simpler" shapes, and do not interact with them. They also do not need limbs, they can have them, but usually do not. Caine got cast out because he has LITERALLY eaten his better and more beloved brother. Caine doesn't understand why he was cast out exactly but believes that it's because all the other circles finally accepted his love for Dungeons & Diagrams and as such, set him off on an adventure to the plane of the lower shapes. People are fucking terrified why there is a circle among them and just give him whatever they think he wants or says because they do not want to displease a literal god.

Bill, is Bill. Not much changed with him besides 1) he is younger here, not a trillion years old, 2) he is still somewhat sane but the visions of the future are literally causing him to go insane the more he see's them which is why 3) his parents blind him. It's not permanent, they don't want to do it, but besides blinding him permanently, there is nothing that could cure Bill's "sickness". Their relationship is, very complicated.

And now onto Ford! Well, Fourd! Hah, get it because Four and Ford- you get it! I will say, I see it as being pronounced the exact same way so I will use either version as I feel. EITHER WAY! A hexagon born to pentagon parents, Stan (i don't have a fun pun name for him yet) does exist and they are twins, but he got born as a pentagon. They look the same when it comes to features but if one tries to act as the other, something is just...off. I have a few more ideas for Euclydia Ford but,,, will keep those for later.

AND YES, THIS IS THE SHORT OF IT. I KNOW YOU MIGHT NOT BELIEVE ME BUT ME AND @kamy2425 WENT A BIT MAD WITH THE NONSENSE. KAMY IS A CO-CREATOR IN THIS, SO MANY IDEAS WERE THEIRS, ABSOLUTE BIG BRAIN!

Bellow is a lil comic based on how Kamy wrote Bill and Ford meeting, though I don't really draw comics so this could've been done better but eh!
