I mean I know what they mean but I don't remember the characters calling each other that in canon. But I've seen them in some fics. I'm just asking you because you have them in your bio so i thought you might know

this is a totally valid question, so don’t worry!

honestly? I think it’s mostly a fanon thing. they’re that kind of annoying nicknames that have the potential to become endearing once you fall in love with the person you’re using them on, so I think writers took those characteristics to represent that journey because they’re truly something tomura and dabi would pick on each other about at the beginning of their acquaintanceship but that would evolve into something more tender (for all is worth) the closer they grew to each other :)
