How long have you been doing pixel art? For absolute art beginners, do you think it's better to master traditional drawing and fundamentals before dipping into pixel art, or does it not matter if you start by doing only pixel art?

almost 10 years now, and no absoluely not! if you wait until you feel you've mastered art you will probably never start!! i was really not a good artist when i started. just learn along the way doing things that you like, its way easier if it's something you actually enjoy doing

Now that I’m getting back into art, more or less, I’m finding it really hard to color?

I’m at a point where I’m not doing so much cell shading and trying to branch out but am having such a hard time making things look good? I dunno.

I’ve been looking at videos and suggestions but nothing has really clicked or helped so far
