At the Back of My Mind
Artwork for Bloom Arts Festival.
The Men in My Life 1.
"Ma, I think our bathroom is a time machine." "I think so, too." This piece is dedicated to the woman who raised me and encouraged my creative imagination. Growing up, my fears weren't about sleeping in the dark, ghosts, or clowns. I've always been a little paranoid. I was scared of dying from a terminal illness, or getting stabbed by a pencil. Creativity became a way for me to silence the fear in my head.
Hang my face to dry.
June was a month of tears.
Happy ones. I finally left my corporate job.
Sad ones. I learned that someone close to me is sick.
So I made this quick artwork, hoping July will be kinder.
Practice.
My girls look the same.
Havenāt drawn anything these past few months.
I have a day job. I have other things. I help out when I can.
I cry when I can, when I need to.
I donāt do art full time, or a lot of times,
and itās starting to hurt a little.
But Iām trying my best,
so stay with me for a while.

āAutolikeā
I made 48 4x4in likes for _revision,
an exhibit featuring the works from advertising creatives.
This will run until july 15 at the NOVA Gallery, Makakti, PH.
Drop by if you have time.
A collection of pictures without words.
Images of strangers I will forget tomorrow.
And stories that may or may not be true.
Another drawing aboutĀ The Women in My Family.
I call this one Pray/Plead. A friend keeps asking me
to explain this work. Ā But i donāt answer him.
Instead, I tell him stories about the women in my family.
Their strengths, but also their weaknesses.
Their rise, and also their downfalls.
So I tell him how important it was,
to be honest in telling their story.
Old Skin.
My therapist told me my emotions are like skin.
Really, really, really thin skin.
So thin, that people can tear it apart and come through it,
easily.
whenver they please.
And I ask her, can I make it thicker? Make it better?
And she told me,
No.
Hereās an image of a lonely house by the sea.
Happy birthday to me.
Today, I turn 28.
I call this drawing
Singular Perspective.
I See You.
Hello, humans!
Posting my Instagram account
which is basically a lot like this Tumblr account.
I made it for an event I attended last year in Las Vegas.
But I decided to keep it and turn it into another
art page.
Sort of redundant. But hey!
Letās be friends?
Falling in Line
Finally finished with the cover of my new
Journal.
Now, time for my monsters.
