i knew what was going to happen to aelfweard the second i saw his new haircut. i also had an inkling because i know the history of the time but it was mostly the hair that tipped me off.
had a catastrophic week hopefully i'll be back to being super annoying about my special interests soon
very bold choice to compete with christopher nolan for the worst odyssey movie adaptation but i believe with the power of bad animation we CAN win this

EMMA D'ARCY as RHAENYRA TARGARYEN — 2.06 | "Smallfolk"
"I've just seen the way you've handled all this with so much grace and kindness. You're so surprised, just when I think you're at capacity you find something really beautiful in a situation that gives you so much joy and energy that I'm just like, 'wow'." - OLIVIA COOKE
"It's funny how much I speak about you. I suppose when anything happens I just sort of crave to know how you're looking at it. And there aren't that many people in my life that I feel that about. You have such an unusual and brilliant and delightful way of seeing the world that I crave to know what you're seeing often." - EMMA D'ARCY
on one hand, the fossoways from the reach having a yorkshire accent (albeit a different one to the starks) gets under my skin. but on the other hand, as a dark haired, monarchy hating individual with a supposedly strong yorkshire accent and a spineless cousin who i hate, i think it would be hypocritical of me to complain about it so i wont.

"don't bother cursing him: his whole life has gone wrong." ORESTES MAN LEAVE HIM ALONE 😭😭😭
The Iliad perhaps the widest excitement level spectrum of any work of literature. At the one end you have Achilles and Hector fighting to the death. And then at the other end? Catalogue of ships...
no matter how bad I feel, I'm comforted by the thought that it could always be worse. for example Henry VIII could be in love with me
i don't know if anyone else has had this idea but i've been thinking about the whole targaryen dragon babies thing and the idea of after the dragons dying out, the targaryen blood line slowly evolving and becoming more draconic throughout the generations to make up for that. probably started after they conquered westeros, once they were away from valyria, but they still had dragons so it didn't happen as often (but it did happen. i.e. maegor's three and rhaenyra's visenya) but once the dragon numbers started to dwindle, it started to happen more until they finally started to have dragon babies that survived. baelor and maekar both have some dragon-like features, maekar more than his older brother. but it's aerion who just so happens to have the most draconic features out of all of the current targaryens. so he doesn't just think he's a dragon, he's positive that he is one.
Let’s be creepy and sit quietly in the dark
