Billy the blue ranger was my first understanding of Woobie and also Whump

Yet there was an older pattern, unrecognised, where every Hardy Boys chapter ended with an exclamation mark, and Joe was usually unconscious

Always loved that David Yost, the original Billy, was usually dressed in shapeless clothing like his infamous dungarees (because he was supposed to be the untrained, non physical Ranger who had to learn how to be stronger and fight)

because they had to de-emphasise that, as a trained gymnast, David Yost was anything BUT shapeless

And as for Joe Hardy, yeah..... the following chapters were often fun!

quick tip from someone who has been in fan spaces for 20 years: being enthusiastic about your rarepair and making your own stuff/engaging your fellow rarepair shippers will ALWAYS work better than yelling at people who enjoy a more popular ship about how bland their ship is

2 DAYS BEFORE I SEE THE JOE

I see The Joe Tuesday!!!!

@getacluedrew and I are going to try and go "Dressed" as Frank and John. She wears blue and I wear red and we wear bell bottom jeans.

And since we're in the VIP Q and A we get to ask questions. It says we can't record video but I wanted to at least record a voice message type thing so I can have a memory and transcribe what he said.

We want to ask him these two questions:

What happened to the Beach Boy Record? (he was singing all over wipe out and we never got the songs on a record)

What happened with the Delano Case. He said in an interview in the 70s that he wrote his own mystery but they couldn't do it. It had to do with plastic surgery. We want to know more about it. They speak about it briefly in Creatures Who Came on Sunday. Frank brings it up briefly about the bandages and scars on that guy's face.

I'm bringing my joe bag!! :D I'm so excited and so nervous!! I just hope we don't terrify him too badly. DX.

At the same time though - JOE.

If he does sign anything - I'm really considering asking if he'd sign it from Joe. ;3;. It would mean the world but I don't want to freak him out. He's used to old ladies who know him for his music and not Joe.

@getacluedrew and my mom say it will be ok.

I know I'm thinking way too hard on that. lol.
