Party Monster Book Review

First, I'm sorry that I haven't been around much I've been very sick. I'm not going to die or anything but I haven't been able to do much with the bug I've got. But I did manage to do some reading while I was laid up.  

I started reading Party Monster and was immediately swept up in it, it was funny from the very start. It was hilarious even when it was at very serious moments, James St James' voice is very different than any I've heard before in any books. I would definitely recommend this to someone who I knew could handle the slightly intense drug content and sexual things. A big winner, one of the best books I've read all year, possibly ever. 11/11 drag queens

I found this song and I love it. My friend told me I should listen to it and I finally did. It's beautiful and made me cry the first time I heard it. It's the Angel Haze remake of the song Same Love by Macklemore. She talks about actual experience of her mother being a bigot towards her, says that she was "locked away for two years to keep me on the inside". Everyone should listen to it, it's beautiful and moving and amazing. -Rael-

My Thoughts On: Andrea Gibson 

An amazing poet and a queer icon, Andrea Gibson is one of my heroes. Her poetry helped me through dark moments in my life and in a moment when I was depressed I heard one of her poems. It made me think about life and how precious it really is, it helped me get through. I saw her in Seattle at The Crocodile with friends. It was one of the best days of my life. Andrea seems like an amazing, funny, interesting person and I would love to know her. -Rael-

Ok so I can’t make this post all formal because I need to do this quick because we’re running out of time.

These are Maui Dolphins and they are one the cutest creatures I’ve ever seen. They are only found off the west coast of New zealand’s North Island. They only grow up to 1.7m long. 

Just today I found out there are only 55 of them left in the world and it makes me sad seeing my favourite animal facing extinction. So I need your help to spread the word and sign this petition to help save the last 55. All you need to do is enter your name, email address and the country you live in. It’s not that much, guys!

Contracted Review

This was honestly just a movie that you put on if you're bored and need something to do. Contracted pretty much portrayed women as pathetic and too afraid to be alone. If you have a horrible disease that cause blood and worms to pour out of your vagina, you're not going to be afraid that you'll lose your girly because you slept with a man. That is the least of your problems. .5 vagina maggots out of 10
